When will the club learn that the manager to bring us in needs to reset the culture and have a bit of a mean streak, less so about the formation. We need to get out of League 1, simple as

One day, possibly when we're in the Vanarama North, Top and Jon might realise that this obsession with possession based football hasn't worked too well for the club

From what I’ve been told.
We’ve spoken to Russell Martin, Ryan Mason, Gary Rowett and Javi Gracia.

They’ve spoken to several free agents, as they don’t want to pay compensation

Why are we speaking to Gary Rowett? lol I mean, he's only been here for three months.

What takeover?

Allegedly a local consortium want to pay the stadium and training ground with a view to buy a big stake in the club in the future. But this is Nixon so could be hogwash 😂

Said it many many times but if it's Martin I'm out. Was genuinely looking forward to the away days next season if nothing else, but happy to sacrifice those and empty chair myself for the forseeable for the principle of refusing to watch us under that BTEC Rodgers Charlatan. The exact opposite of what we need with such a major rebuild and update in playing style needed.

Might even just cancel the direct debit and see what they do if it happens. I've given my reasons on here before for why i renewed but god damn I am not attending a single match where he is our manager.

Yes, I have to be honest, if it were Martin I might slip into the 'let it all go to s**t as soon as possible, because only then can we move forward' camp. I think a lot of people who previously toed the line would feel that way, and it would even fracture the KPFC bunch. As someone said earlier, instead of galvanising the fans it would pit them against the club. It'd be suicidal.

The problem is, we've already gone through half a dozen 'surely we have to change course now' moments without changing course. The chairman is comically incompetent, and the only real question is whether we survive him.

Agreed it’s such short term thinking. Don’t want to pay compensation but then happy to keep sacking poor appointments and spending a small fortune in pay offs. Surely the best option is find the best available candidate and hopefully have someone in place for 2/3 seasons who delivers success.

we don’t want to pay compensation to clubs so miss out on the likes of Corberon and Rohl to appoint the likes of Cooper, RVN and Cifuentes, because they are cheap free and available and end up getting relegated twice in a row, whilst throwing money about on dross like BDCR, Ayew, Eduoard, Skipp, Carranza, Aribo etc.

When will the penny drop and the people in power realise it’s false economies, get the right manager in and give him the power and support to rebuild and it all changes. The likes of Challinor, Fuchs etc won’t be on big money and by default won’t have massive release clauses.

Hire the wrong man which we will most likely do if we continue to shop in the bargain basement and we will be shelling out a lot more in pay offs before the season is out.

So true. Same applies for player sales. Sometimes you sell a top player and get 60m and everyone is happy. But by the time you've spent that 60m on 3 duds, it was pointless.

As you say we need to go and get Challinor asap.

Great post.

It wouldn't suprise me if it's not about paying out compensation, but more about not wanting the hassle of approaching someone in work. They would have to negotiate with other clubs for permission to talk to, they would have to convince the manager to leave and tell him what the plan was. KPFC do the easy thing that takes minimal  brain power, which is why we only appoint out of work manager's who want the job.

Worth mentioning that other clubs really dislike working with Rudkin. Our name in circles is poor hence the reliance on agents

He should have been sacked along time ago. How can any DoF, or whatever name you want to give, can survive poor signings, poor manager choice once let alone 3 or 4 times?! He is leading the football side, he's accountable for 3 relegations millions wasted on salaries and fees on poor players

This club will get it wrong again,  and sounds like history is repeating itself again!! We as fans can see the issues why can't anyone else?!

This season we can't just go for free and convenient. We can't just wing it and hope for the best. This is a critical time, get it wrong we'll be in league 1 for a long time at best.

Mirrors my stance 100%

I've posted several times something very similar and stated I'll take a 'sabbatical' whilst he's in charge

The club hasn't learnt a thing from its past failures and it makes me wonder just how much of a free reign and actual influence McCarron has.  Or is the Nepo Baby still putting the 'find me a possession manager like Pep', so we "promote next season"

If it is Russell Martin then that is confirmation that Top and Jon have still learned absolutely nothing from the absolute disaster that they have created. It also would confirm what we already know: that these two are the stupidest individuals in football. I'm convinced they're both dense AF
