He wouldn't come in without that being an option. I am far from happy and it's not my choice but I support the club and don't want us to fail. We need to get out of this league. My worry is that he won't be given much head room for mistakes and it could go toxic very easily. Challinor would have been given more support by the fans and it's a brand of football I like. His last two clubs held banners calling for his head and his football is dated now, football moves on quickly and that brand of possession football is dying, even Guardiola had done away with it. I may be proved wrong but either way, it's another kick in the teeth that the board went to him when the fans clearly wanted anyone but him, all whilst claiming they wanted to build back trust. 2
