So on one thread we’ve got people saying the club is already essentially bankrupt, and will inevitably cease to exist in a couple of years.  Then on another thread we’ve got people saying that no one should buy tickets, so that we can starve the club of funds and force Top out.  But surely if the club is already set for closure, what’s the point in boycotting games?  We might as well make the most of football while we can?   After all, if it’s already a done deal, what’s the point of any kind of protest?

So tell me, which of the multitude of experts on here is correct?

You only need to look at the published accounts 70 million loss, loss of more tv revenue in League 1, cost of the training ground, high staff costs. There are going to be a lot of redundancies at the club so expect sadly. We get one more year of parachute payments after that the club will have a turnover of at best £20 million in league one, current costs of running seagrave are 5 million, none playing costs 40m, the 70m on players wages. I’m no maths genius but that looks problematic for a business. Even if Top wanted to waste some money, we have to comply with some form of ffp.

The players on high wages will be gone.

The vast majority of our current starting 11 and subs will be gone.
And Top will have to either sell, or bankroll the club using his own money.  This is permitted in league 1.

Don’t forget that Ward was put in goal by Rodgers.

You get rid of Rodgers who (parking aside my hatred of him had definitely lost his ability to manager the club at that point ((it was my view he needed sacking after Warsaw- 6 months before the Forest loss)) for £15m. Or you try and sell those said players- who in fairness to your view had dropped off in performances, and risk replacing them for unknowns- at a far bigger financial risk

The players didn’t need refreshing, they needed a fresh manager.

The whole clubs ethos at the time was to sell players at their maximum value and reinvest. That was the plan which worked well for a number of years. We had stopped that. It was literally how the club had been successful for a number of years

There are a number of these players under contract, who is going to buy the worse ones? The wages they are on getting rid of the likes of hamza, Thomas etc will be tough.

Then we have the other issue of Rudkin then needed to find some new footballers, something he has proven he’s not very good at, I’m not sure top can cover 100m of losses with King Power in trouble too, is he that interested?

I just am so worried about this club, football is a strange old what with the likes of spuds one of the old Top 6 teams in this country a £2B stadium heading for the Championship the little club Leicester who dared to break the Top 6 hands on the Premier League champions of England title, but what the Spuds & Leicester have in common is both have been run absolutely atrociously grinding them down.

But Fuch the spuds I & many fellow foxes faithful are absolutely Fuched off with Rudkin, Top, King power and the LCFC board who have single handedly ruined destroyed stamped on desecrated VICHAI’s memory visions dreams & hopes for Leicester City’s growth, Top is not only qualified to own a football club or even try to run a football club but he’s deluded lost, always missing childish & needs to pack his bags sell up and just concentrate on playing polo with his mates a thing he likes to do rather than attend the football club he owns that’s in deep deep deep fincial & league relegation schitt, so do us all a favour Top sell up & pack your bags concentrate on your polo sell up & take Rudkin with you & thankyou VICHAI for giving us the dream and the fantastic journey!

It was. But we hadn’t done that in the summer of 2021-  a form of backing Rodgers

And in any case, are you suggesting we only sold 1, rather than the 5/6 he called out?

We wont have this complete and utter clueless coward at Leicester too often (if ever) in future

The club will run out of money from this summer's player sales in around November..

He doesn't have the money or authority for KP to finance us..

The players and staff won't be paid. We'll be effectively dissolved.

He will hang on and on to seagrave and the stadium and Belvoir Drive in a pathetic spiteful attempt to assert control over a new phoenix club.

He will do neither.

He’ll have no choice of we’re facing administration.  Either step back and sell, or put the money in.

In order

Pathetic ownership

Pathetic team

Pathetic manager

It's an absolute disgrace this team goes down when they should have been looking at play offs.

Disgusting all round don't go to any games moving forward.

Sick of them making me feel like this

Agreed. Feel robbed of a club and culture, in slow motion. Who are these kpfc droids in the ground clapping them? It's mind-blowing. What must Vards be thinking today watching that shit show

Hamza taking the armband off whilst walking round. He is a prime example of everything wrong at the club.

An academy graduate, the club has given him every opportunity he's had, yet consistently ****ing around off the pitch. Given a pass when he was younger, but as an experienced pro he should be putting absolutely everything on the line. Can't wait till he's gone.

When you look at his body language, I'm sure he's also smirking or grinning at them at one point. Horrible twat.

Of course they’ll go.  They’ll take pay cuts to avoid playing in League 1.  Thomas might stay, because League 1 is his level, but he’ll take a pay cut because there are relegation clauses.

I know that's the logic. But we are dealing with an imbecile..

Just a hunch based on his form and Thai business culture. I don't think he'll do either. I think he'll just shut the door. And hope that his ownership of our property somehow gives him a new lease of life.

It won't..

Droid is a good word for them. Barely sentient, they do it purely from habit

Why are they walking around clapping? None of them should even get paid. Should be in there getting a massive spray from the Manager...all weak as piss

Symbiosis with our happy-clapping brethren in the stands

It somehow makes it worse doesn't it. I'd be running straight off with my head down.

Sell 1 for big money and bring in 3/4 to replace those called out. Then you can loan out and sell those at smaller fees.

The club should have sold one regardless. Particularly Tielemans on two years left with no intention of signing a new deal
