Don’t like this. Big part of me wants to see that team play again for the sake of a good cause, other half of me says this is fvcking crass 24hrs before we’re due to be relegated. Get all of them - including that communications director, who is most likely reading this, out of this club.

It wouldn’t be so insufferable if it wasn’t going to be in such stark contrast to 10 years on of course. I’d have quite fancied going had we maintained as a mid table Prem club within that timeframe

Im aware that this is for charity however and technically the money doesn't go to Top, but the clappers will do anything to show their love for KPFC.

In principle it was something quite likely to happen but in the current context of disaster, ill feeling and negativity there should have been a chat behind the scenes with a suggestion of postponing it to a November International break pending mood around that time. Still ten years, maybe harder to get everyone together but a sensible compromise to the current ignorant plan. Unless they think there won’t be a club in November .

I’m aware that elements of the meetings are confidential but did the club involve any of those fan representative groups in the arrangements. If so did any of them suggest it might be a bad idea? If they weren’t, why weren’t they?
