Saw Paddy Power have their odds up now. Was surprised how short our odds were (3.5). Only slightly longer than West Ham to win the Champ (3) and I can see them walking it. Sheff Weds (7) and Luton (8.5) the closest to us. They actually already have us odds on for promotion. Maybe I'm just a pessimist.

It’s so weird to think we’ll be playing AFC Wimbledon and Bromley next season. I remember a decade or so ago when AFC Wimbledon had trials on a park, and began from the bottom tier.

It really is so brutally humbling. I remember our stint in League 1 in 2008, and I’m still tingling from hearing the Champions League anthem serenading King Power Stadium.

And here we. Football, aye. So glorious and horrible.

Not sure it’s based on much more than size of club at the minute.

We have so much to do still. The signs have been positive but we are still a mess, which just highlights how bad things/the squad was going into the summer.

We definitely need a few more out and some big gaps to fill to be able to win the league. Not to say it can’t be done.

There’s a lot of wasters and bullshitters at the heart of club, that were able to parasite their way to a cushy job after Vichai departed. But like woodworm in your floor boards, you don’t notice it immediately. But after 10 years of nibbling away, you collapse.

Unless someone cuts out the rot, we could be in serious trouble. Not sure Top has the awareness, interest or balls to fix it.

We should be getting promoted.

However, l really don't think that pundits, media etc realise how poorly organised we are as a club & what a mess we're in. It’s been like this for some time.

Even when we were relegated from The Prem, it was obvious we were going going down from fairly early on, but were fairly long odds of doing so.

The 'Big 6' is all that matters. Some are oblivious to so much below that.

Since Brendan Roger’s left, the wheels were coming off. I know Enzo did well, but that season was basically an audition for him to get better clubs. He must’ve known he could bounce back and took the risk.

After that, the club has felt like a wheelie bin filled with concrete perched on a lake of quicksand.

You don't think we have enough to stay up? Or you don't?

You look like a team on the up.

I think you guys will be good enough to get promotion back to Championship.

I know you guys are down on your club, but I would think that's still the expectation?

My team(Notts) were the 4th best to come up and I just don't think we currently have enough to stay.

Of course, I hope I'm wrong.

*about us, not you! ;)

Notts 2 Leicester 1 opening game. Both clubs to finish mid table.
