One win in January

No wins in February

One win in March

No wins in April

One win in May.

Thats why we’re getting relegated.

Absolutely spot on .... and they are the statistics that got us relegated.... 3 wins in a little over 4 months ..... cannot deal with the fact some are hiding behind the points deduction

No need to hide. Those collection of awful stats gave us 52 points. Enough to avoid relegation. Can you see that?

Says alot about our back room staff when two of the goals that clinched Ipswich's return to the Prem were scored by ex Leicester youth that we let go to fund the wages of our current sack of shite 🤷‍♂️

Yay!! Wouldn't say "Let Go". That £12 million for Kasey must have come in handy somewhere?

It's not 'hiding behind the points deduction' to point out the simple fact that without it we woudn't have been relegated.

Let's not forget that the points deduction did not put us into the relegation zone at the time. It did not make us a lost cause.

Of course.

But two things can be true at the same time.

1 - we were utter rubbish and can't complain about being relegated on the basis of our performances.

2 - without the points deduction we would have stayed up, however undeserved that might have been.

Not really ..... so after the points deduction we not in the bottom 3 ... so how do you explain what has happened after that ....

I don’t see why people are arguing over this. We got a points deduction AND were too shit to overcome it.

Crap owner, crap management, crap coaching, crap culture and crap players are what got us relegated. It’s not one specific thing. The players don’t exonerate the management and vice versa.

The simple fact is after the points deduction the team didn't have the guts for a relegation fight... bearing in mind the players attitude and some were on their way out of the club .... and we had a fair few opportunities to put it right and gain points but didn't

You've lost me now. You can't 'Not really' see that 52 points would've kept us up?

Fair enough.

Just watched the highlights, two things stood out. Page’s lack of minutes has been scandalous and my word Thomas is shit.

Just watched the highlights as had no interest watching it live.

How on earth did we not concede in the first few mins of the second half!?

What is your problem, mate?

Who’s side are you on with your argument?

You don’t get a prize for being statistically correct. Yeh, 52 points would have THEORETICALLY kept us up but even that is a meaningless argument considering the space time continuum. How do you know the other teams wouldn’t have been spurred on by the amount of points they needed to get?

Surely you can’t be suggesting that the situation as it actually happened didn’t affect how different teams played. For example, Blackburn were on the beach today and so were we. The point people keep making is that if this was a crunch game there’s ample evidence we would have lost, see Portsmouth or several home games.

I’m not here to defend PSR, but the last thing this club needs is the narrative that we didn’t deserve to be relegated.

It's irrelevant saying "the points deduction" got us relegated. We only won today because they was absolutely nothing riding on it for either team. If it was a winner takes all game we would've lost it comfortably.

Yeah, all true.

But also true that without the deduction we wouldn't have been relegated.

Some people seem to think that pointing this out is saying we were brilliant and wuz robbed. It really isn't. It's saying that we were woefully bad but would still have stayed up with six more pointa.
