When will our club hire a new boss permanently?

How long will we dally about for, or will we be efficient for once and hire someone early to give us a decent pre-season?

I think they will leave Rowett in charge

Depends who is available, willing and cheap. I think we are all hoping for a clean sweep by removing as many as possible tarnished by the season from hell. Not sure the club will be brave enough so fear you might be right. 14 matches is enough to know if we want him or not.

Mid to late July. They'll waste time pursuing unrealistic options who wouldn't dream of working with this board and then we'll end up with a panic signing of someone worse than Rowett.

Is there the slightest evidence that management have learnt anything from the last three years? They are unable to admit any mistakes, so until they do, the deluded behaviour will continue. So two months of chasing unrealistic managers, followed by a crisis appointment as before.

I think with this ownership and board it will be mid July at the earliest.

They won’t learn.

Got to go on their jollies first

Can’t be many worse than Rowett ☹️

There will be quite a few Managerial departures from other Clubs over the next Month. It would be wise to wait a while to see who becomes available.

Is how they will justify the first month of delay.

They will then have “some bad luck” with those they approach… and we’ll be 10/11 weeks of no manager prior to appointing someone cheap and available (and that we could have appointed today)

Another manager sacked and on a downward spiral then instead of looking for someone on the up, like two of our former players in Cleverley and Fuchs, they'll be many more out there around Europe too if only we could think outside the box

We tried the cheap route and look where that got us. Though I know the next Pep is out there who would come cheap now,.

Not every manager sacked is a bad one, Sometimes it just doesn't work out at some clubs for them. Ranieri for instance.

It's really about doing your home work and due dilligence.

As I said above not all sacked managers are bad.

The big plus with a young hungry manager is you have a better chance of keeping them if they are on the way up or as you say have an allegiance to the Club.

I just hope this lad McCarron is up to the job and not influenced by Rudkin.

Rowett said he's not had conversations yet so they've obviously not made serious headway. It'll be July earliest.

There is no urgency there at all

It depends on the terms of his employment. He may have requested a free hand in decision making.

As we know firsthand they'll all be OOO for a few weeks now, probably back in June, starting form scratch, few failed approaches takes us into late June, then finally settling for a Wasserman recommendation early July.
