We just got rid of 2 100+ point scorers and now shifted into Gornal's league who smashed 100 points and 115 goals last season.

Plus side is that in this league Carl Adam's should be able to source players that can get us up from this league with more trips to the west midlands.

Looks like it would have been a coinflip between Rushall and Quorn for that last northern spot. Rushall being closer to more Southern Central teams probably edged the decision.

Tough for Quorn but unhelpful that Hednesford went up and Leamington and Peterborough Sports went down.

What does Lateral Movement mean in regards to the league? Just the league deciding to move someone?

Sometimes club ask for it

Yes, moving to another regional league. For example, March Town Utd and Wisbech have moved from the United Counties (predominantly Midlands) to the Eastern Counties League.

Quorn are further North than Rushall who were in same league last year

Missed off or no longer with us?

They remain in the UCL South as the sole Leicestershire representative.

On page 9. Same division as last year. Expect them to be right up there this season as they’ve added a good couple of player/coaches to their management & playing squad.

Season Ticket announced at my local club Brackley... £200 if bought early (by end of June)

£8 a game for NL North is incredible compared to on the gate price of £18

Sounds like they were very disappointed by last season and wanted to thank fans with this offer.

Just ordering mine now, second season of having one after following them since 2020

A few decent servants leaving Harborough.

Makes me wonder if they are looking at going hybrid pro or something

I think they'll miss Hickey. Ben Stephens didn't have his best season & was on the bench a fair bit.

As a few people here know I used to be involved with Ashby Ivanhoe, moved to Sheffield, heard the chairman talking on radio Sheffield and approached them had a meeting with them. Turns out their chairman is lead singer of reverend and the makers.

Went well, they don’t seem to keen to pursue it though which is fine, might be because sacking people or stepping on peoples who have been there for 15 years is a bad move for the club (in their defence it is) or it might be that a politely said Reverend and the makers are a pile of shit (in my defence, they are) but I had reservations about it myself, all talks of madness about WSL teams (never happening) and the national league (never happening) seemed like a lot of pipe dreams with no means to deliver them myself and people foolishly thinking non league can turn a good profit.

Anyway I mention it here as they are (pending an appeal of course) being moved to the UCL with several Leicestershire clubs, I am expecting big money to be thrown around by them, slightly dubious on whether it’ll be spent wisely given the talks I had with them but time will tell I guess.
