Of course it can (get worse), but I have a good imagination - which is always a double-edged sword :P

Rather than a genuine full review of of how we got here and an acceptance of the deep neglect by leadership, Top and Rudkin have released this little snippet of fake news.

As we were

Newcastle may have gone down under him, but look at us 😂

The ‘issue’ with Mike Ashley from Newcastle fans’ own eyes is that they thought they should’ve been winning things because lots of people go to the stadium twice a week.

They were incredibly self entitled and believed their own hype.

Thats what I thought, but I wanted to see if I was wrong, as my question was about financial mismanagement, I remember them from that side of things being ran very well.

Are we a run down club though? We have e doen so we'll recently, yes we're in the dumps at the mo, but we're not just a random club.

Built up debt based on future earnings and player trading income.
Squad thats more of a liability than an asset (wage cost exceeding trade value, little young up and coming players in first team squad).
Stripped down scouting and sports science.
An owner who cant communicate, low effort CEO recruited, reliance on a obsolete sporting director.

I assume all this is bollocks?

No, random account BlueTintedLCFC is a highly credible source.

lol I genuinely assumed this must have moved on from that opening source to warrant a 12 page thread. Bollocks confirmed.

They're just an aggregator account though, like a modern day NewsNow.

BlueTintedLCFC is not exactly an aggregator account - it’s a fan account that posts original content including podcasts and interviews, etc. But yes, it wasn’t the source for this story—it was Alan Nixon. Nixon posts dozens of ‘exclusives’ every week on his Patreon account. Some occasionally turn out to be true, many do not.

The only time Nixon had gotten anything right about us (as far as I can tell?) was Jordan Ayew.

Looking through his previous claims around that time he seemed to have a decent amount about Palace and Charlton right.

All of these guys are only as good as their sources and their intentions. I assume someone around South London talks to Nixon.

O'Rourke and Nixon just can't ever be considered credible until verified by someone else, though, because they only care about the clicks and will post literally anything to drive revenue. They don't give a **** about their credibility the same way Percy or Collomosse do.

Absolutely. Nixon promotes himself as a professional scoop-getter. He has to publish a large volume of stories every week to maintain that image. It follows that he sets a much lower bar for credibility than others—there’s no way he could uncover a huge amount of genuine exclusives every week, so he has to chuck in a large number that are little more than idle gossip. A small number might turn out to be true.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say he just makes stuff up—he probably doesn’t. Somebody probably told him about this proposed investment, just as someone probably told him that we want Russell Martin. But both stories are far more likely to belong in the ‘speculative gossip that turns out to be bullshit’ category than the ‘occasional genuine scoop’ one.

? So to sum up it's probably not true but Whitney Houston has enquired about staying at our training ground

We own half a pot to piss in

The clubs value in this division is done alphabetically so Burton Albion are bigger

We're still a bit shit and our owner/s are bad men.

I think there will be a forced sale of the club in the near future through the club going into administration.

That is probably the best chance of us finding new owners.

But we are an attractive proposition to some wealthy people. Recently history of the club would attract some yank.

Delete the thread it’s more than likely bullshit. Alan Nixon trying to get some attention again. There’s a lot more ITK that are closer to Leicester than this guy who haven’t said anything. Many trying to get attention including Blue Tinted Glasses. Season is over nothing to talk about gotta stay relevant

Maybe he wants to keep a little stake in the club, but has realised he can’t take it further.

trying to think positively I know I’m being naive.

The thing is, Top can take us further - much further.

The only issue is that the direction he is taking us is less than ideal.
