Realistically...how much are we worth... what would it actually cost to buy LCFC?

Not that much now the incompetence of the players and upper echelons getting us relegated to Division 1, here’s hoping we get a very Rich Billionaire come in and take us from the grip of the Tyrants that are ruining our club I honestly think we will go into administration this coming season & the EFL will love that to happen to us !

BlueTintedLCFC is not exactly an aggregator account - it’s a fan account that posts original content including podcasts and interviews, etc. But yes, it wasn’t the source for this story—it was Alan Nixon. We’ll Chat GPT has its say regarding the fantasy sale of LCFC

There is no credible indication that Leicester City F.C. is formally up for sale right now, but there have been recent reports and rumours about investment interest and possible asset-related discussions.

Here’s the current picture:

  • In January 2026, owner Aiyawatt “Khun Top” Srivaddhanaprabha publicly said that selling the club was “not an option” and that he wanted to continue his father’s work at Leicester. Multiple outlets carried those comments.
  • At the same time, Leicester’s financial situation has become a major talking point after relegation issues, PSR concerns, and falling revenues. Reports describe serious pressure on the club’s finances.
  • Over the past few days, several reports and fan discussions have claimed there are “investment discussions” or exploratory talks involving the King Power Stadium and Seagrave training ground. One report suggested a local consortium could be interested in buying the stadium and training ground as part of a broader investment structure.
  • However, those reports are still speculative and appear to be based on secondary reporting and rumours rather than any official announcement from Leicester City or King Power. Even fan communities have treated the claims cautiously, with many questioning the reliability of the original reporting.

So the short answer is:

  • No confirmed sale process for Leicester City FC has been announced.
  • Yes, there are rumours and apparent enquiries/investment discussions, especially tied to the club’s financial pressures and infrastructure assets.
  • The ownership publicly insists the club is not for sale as of the latest direct comments from Khun Top.

Whilst 3 was seen as the great escape, it always felt that the team simply wasnt quite clicking, there was good structure behind the scenes.

#2 it just prolongs the pain, and his losses.

#1 is what we waiting for.

This is a regime that won't even sell sponsorships to legitimate business for fear of its financial chicanery being seen by real people.

There is no way they allow  a legitimate investor to pore over the books. The only investment this club will seek is that from dodgy offshore funds via weird and obscure Crypto gambling Forex fronts

Depends how tough it’s got financially on Top. Do you sell your dad’s dream or do you bring an investor in. Should one come in I think it shows how ****ed Top’s / KingPower’s finances are.

What is this based on? Administration of one of its member clubs is a disaster for the EFL and hold up a torch to its inability to regulate properly.

To be fair, he didn't say the few rumours were anything to do with the take over.

It was the Monks. They’d come to get a refund on their shirts for this season so that they can buy them back at the discounted end of season price. Top flew them over especially.

After the complete disaster of sponsorships, does anyone have any faith we’d even sell to the right people. We clearly will just take the best financial deal which will likely place us in the hands of someone bad/corrupt . Wonder if we will end up BC game fc

It will be to whoever offers the best financial package - they won't sell to someone at a lower price because they want to leave it to the ''right people''. That's business, even Top and his advisors will realise that!
