I think there's a distinction between fans, glory supporters and those types who go for a day out or just want to see Premier League players.

We did genuinely have fans all over the Midlands to the point there was threads on Forest and Coventry forums losing their marbles about it. That wouldn't happen now. I think it's difficult to call someone who only takes an interest when you're in the Premier League a "fan".

Season Ticket Latest: Blue Army Backing Leads To Cap Increase

We’d like to thank our supporters for their outstanding commitment ahead of the 2026/27 season, with 22,292 Season Tickets already sold for the new campaign.

Despite a challenging period for the Club, we’ll have the Blue Army right behind us as we take on League One from August, with a total of 17,954 Season Ticket Holders renewing for 2026/27 - representing a 79.1 per cent renewal rate.

A further 4,338 fans secured new Season Tickets during the initial sales period, taking the total number sold to 22,292 before sales were paused for a planned reconciliation process in May.

With enquiries over additional availability still high, we have taken the decision to increase the Season Ticket cap for 2026/27 to 23,500, making a further 1,208 Season Tickets available.

These additional Season Tickets went on sale from 10am on Monday 15 June.

We are grateful to all supporters who renewed and purchased during the initial sales period and to those who have shown such strong interest in joining us for the season ahead.

Once Russell Martin is announced there will likely be a flurry of cancellations probably explains the timing of this announcement……

What happens if we request a cancellation at this stage? Are they still allowing it, now that the 1st DD payment has gone through?

this is in the T’s & C’s so it depends on what the wording “during the course of the season” imply

a Season Ticket is not refundable and cannot be cancelled by the Season Ticket Holder during the course of the Season. However, the Club

will consider requests for a refund in exceptional circumstances or on compassionate grounds on a case-by-case basis.

21% of ST holders giving up their tickets is pretty mad.
