winteriscoming Posted Sunday at 18:41 Posted Sunday at 18:41 So Martin falls out with players, fans and now former coaches don’t want to work with him again. Is there anyone this ***** actually gets on with other than his Mrs and looking in the mirror?

Popular Post Mista_cle31 Posted Sunday at 18:51 Popular Post Posted Sunday at 18:51 If Russell Martin doesn't bring in his own back room team, then he's on to a good hiding. Our coaching team requires an urgent upgrade. 5 1

But we all know what’s coming with Russell, a way more extreme version of what Cardiff produced last season. I think heavy possession systems still have their place in football, but I mentioned it on here numerous times last season, you were starting to see a real shift in 24/25 where more teams looked to go fast and direct. Cardiff showed it can still work, but with the changes we’re likely to see in our squad, it’s going to take probably a 10/10 transfer window to potentially make it work. It’s just a shame this board are obsessed with being a poundland Man City, when Iraola’s Bournemouth have been the best team to watch in the Premier League in recent years imo. It works when you have some of the best players in the division. We may or may not have that next season. It’s boring, pretentious and is rightly being phased out higher up.

foxile5 Posted Sunday at 20:01 Posted Sunday at 20:01 Are we even stuffing up his announcement? Is he just going to appear at Seagrave with no communication from the club.
Popular Post SK3Blue Posted Sunday at 21:17 Popular Post Posted Sunday at 21:17 Can’t wait for the announcement. Hope we’ve got the 3m to pay him off in November. 10

Pita Posted Sunday at 21:36 Posted Sunday at 21:36 Hope Rudkin has started looking for the next manager. As Martin won’t last long. 1
Vulpine Victor Posted Sunday at 21:37 Posted Sunday at 21:37 I was disappointed at having to give up my season ticket, that I had held for over thirty years due to health reasons, but with the prospect of Martin Russell as Manager it is a delight. The owners have clearly got a one tract mind. Appointing someone who has been a serial failure to the position is in keeping with promoting Rudkin, who with the inept backing of Top has got us relegated twice and ruined the progress that had been made under Vichai. This appointment is probably the most unpopular one in LCFC’s history. I have no wish to watch players who are incapable of playing possession based football being beaten week after week by teams, possibly less talented but playing effective football. In Division One you need players who play direct football with a good physical presence similar to those in Nigel Pearson’s team. 1

STUHILL Posted Sunday at 23:58 Posted Sunday at 23:58 Another crazy thing, he is probably the most expensive Manager we could have hired too
