No proof he’s touched that. Not clear and obvious.

Another case of VAR ruining the sport.

Haven’t they got a sensor in the ball this time to know about things like that.

The only question for me is it clearly comes off the Portugal player last, did he deliberately play at the ball? Haven’t seen a replay on that.

It’s whether the attacker touches it… if not it’s onside

In one of the replays there was a graphic indicating that there had been contact with the ball. I think it has a sensor in it?

Whether or not it got a touch is completely inconclusive. They were gagging to give that off

Exactly, and the constant pans to Penaldo...

Surely there is a better angle to show the ref whether he touched it or not? He doesnt need to see the one zoomed way out that shows where hes clearly offside.

Looks like it did hit the Croatia player first but not definitive so a better angle shot would have removed all doubt

They say they have, how can we trust it? How do we know the sensor has sensed a Croatian head and not the Portuguese head a split second later? How do we know it’s accurate?

If there is absolute proof I want to see it. I’m not just going to assume FIFA and referees are honest.

I would assume because the ref had to go to the monitor that it wasn’t so clear if a touch was made or not.

800 Croatia goals chalked off that half.

Glad I stayed up for it though, cracking 2nd half!

What a save from Costa from that Kovacic shot as well. Gotta be save of the tourney so far
