I think they still owe Cov money from when they signed him a couple of years ago, so I suspect that'll just clear that debt.

Could easily get two in, one perm and one loan, who can sort their feet out without needing time to stand still, with the cash for him.

Pretty standard cashflow management. The key issue has been bringing down the monumentally massive wage bill to a manageable level.

If your head is in the right frame of mind, and your in that for the season, knowing full well, that this system is going to make you pass pass pass, and you're the captain, you'd at least put your hand up or try to laugh it off. 1
