20m for Souttar and Cannon, they can have Choudhury for the low, low price of £1.5m. We’d throw Thomas in for free but unfortunately they’ve already had him.

Our recent history suggests we get incoming transfers right about 20% of the time…. So to get a good starting CB pairing we only need to sign 10 centre backs :)

That was my concern! But have a bit more hope with the new setup.

Had high hopes for him when he came back and looked to be the centre-back that we'd missed all season. But at least the £10m will keep the Seagrave Resort running for another couple of months

Fantastic deal for us, although it looks like we are going to be witnessing the Faes Okoli partnership again, from the Prem to League One… how far can we fall..

Faes Okoli and Aluku CBs, possibly Hamza also.

There is a lanky Dane on a free we could bring in as emergency cover.  I hear he isn’t too bad with the ball at his feet…

What are the chances we are selling Wilson brown to Stockport and then going to buy Ethan Pye from them with Souttar money?

Is that too sensible for Leicester?

True, I suppose if we can also move on Faes we probably need one experienced CB, hopefully we can bring in another who we can develop.

Got to be better experience than John Souttar, there really has.

It will 100% be his brother to replace him. I reckon he’s all lined up to come straight in.

I find it interesting that Harry Souttar wants to leave and his brother coming in. Why would he recommend his brother to come? Unless he hates him lol

Fantastic deal yet far less than we paid for him 😂 honestly I hate this club more and more by the day

On a free on pennies if so - and if Martin has had him somewhere already and likes him the I’m pretty sure at league one level he will do a job

It is a good deal, but we were already short and it leaves us a bit desperate for saturday.

My Rangers supporting friend seems to think John Souttar is going to be happening pretty quickly now.

You don't have faith in our recruitment?!

Selling a player and buying his shit brother is very on brand tbf. We are consistent if nothing else.

Worth considering wilder would have paid 20m for him if he didn’t get injured that season. So picking him up for 10 will still feel like value to him and it could yet prove to be a good deal for them

Makes no difference to us.

£10m on an injury prone centre back that cannot run in the last 2 years of his contract will always be an amazing sale for a League 1 club.
