Skipp actually looked OK at CB and could do a job at filling in at a pinch. Hamza at the base of midfield and sign Archie Collins instead.
Muzzy_no7 Posted 12 August Posted 12 August What worries me obviously who will be captain with Souttar going and Nelson out long term. Other than KG are there any CB’s left who actually wanna be here?!

He has leadership experience, seems like a really good bloke and isn't tainted. If it is given to Choudhury and he's regularly on the pitch then I have lost all confidence in Martin. 5

I would have Chaplin and Braybrooke as the second choice, could live with McCarthy 2
suffolk fox Posted 12 August Posted 12 August Until the 10million plus add ons bid is made Soutter will not be going anywhere. I actually don't think Russel Martin will allow him to go unless we get another centre back in. Percy can say what he likes doesn't mean it will happen. Everyone believing this is a done deal lol.

You recon Russell Martin is going to chain himself to the gates at Seagrave if we approve a bid so he can’t leave? There is only one reason Souttar was captain the other day… Edited 12 August by VLC86

It will get done, so sorry to disappoint you and trigger you even further. The club needs the income but it will allow for two CB's to come in, the same pattern so far, let a player go bring players who want to be here in !
brookfox Posted 12 August Posted 12 August And if we do get 2 CBs in, please make sure one of them is left footed!
JonnyBoy Posted 12 August Posted 12 August 10 mill for Souttar is crazy, has he packed his bags yet? 1
Tuna Posted 12 August Posted 12 August John Souttar and Harry Darling, if possible. Probably Darling unlikely.
Levi Port Posted 12 August Posted 12 August Incredible deal if the figure is true, done **** all here. Classic case of a player whose ability has been mythically inflated despite having done absolutely nothing for us when he’s played. Missed an open goal at Southampton away in that first relegation season from about 2 yards out and he’s done nothing since. Catch is we won’t get a player of his championship standard to replace him but he doesn’t want to be here anyway so goodbye
teblin Posted 12 August Posted 12 August Feas is going to play and be captain on Saturday isn't he? 1

Stopharage Posted 12 August Posted 12 August I’m looking forward to us selling him, pocketing the money and then using it to announce #Hamza2031 and #Faes2030. 1

Get both out, make Okoli the captain the week after. Centre back needs an overhaul and we can't do it until players leave. 1
