As well as all the fight we played very good stuff in the first half hour at an altitude we’re not used to, 90 minutes with 11 on the pitch in breathable oxygen who knows how good we’ll be.

Great game. I wont be able to watch the quarter final unless they show it in the campsite at Knebworth, but a week of build up that will all be about how to stop Haaland will be fun. At least we are no longer half way up a mountain.

Last 30 mins was like a living hell, feeling almost resigned to a typically valiant effort in defeat when up against it.

Pickford also gets a mention. 
We had a lot of injury time probably a few of those minutes from his antics, but he put in some incredible saves, kept the back 4/5 under control, calmed them down multiple times, was dominating his area and taking the pressure off the defenders, and of course his trade mark dark arts of making sure he goes to ground regardless of the save. 
 

Hes a ****er when you’re against him, but he made a huge difference for us tonight.
