I appreciate what you are saying and respect your viewpoint, Ings wasn’t a Wilder signing IIRC and seemed to largely revert back to ‘his players’. Also Ings has largely been 2nd / 3rd choice at his most recent clubs. 
 

All I am saying is in league one, under a different manager and a different style he could be a decent addition. I would expect him to be a rotational starter and impact sub. But most importantly will be a positive influence, leader and mentor to our younger players.

We'll need at least one more senior striker, cannot see Ings managing to start 40+ games next season.

We can't throw that kind of money around any longer, the careless spending days are pretty much over.

We dont need to, promote from academy or buy league one striker for about 100k.

Can see Ings & McCarthy getting done this week. And then likely will be a wait again until we can shift a few more 

E.g - Vestergaard, Fatawu, Mavididi? and Souttar? Before we see any more incomings.
