If you read the article, the reporter has just guessed that Pearson might be part of any deal because he's unwanted at Stoke and they want his wages off the books. It's not an actual rumour. 1

Not another 30+ hasbeen on a 3 year deal. Terrible thought this. No thanks - keep Hamza.

Sounds ideal... The 31-year-old's time at the club has been a real mixed bag, not helped by the general mediocrity at the bet365 Stadium in that time. He's struggled to remain fit for long periods, only playing more than 30 league games once in the last three years 1

Dan Posted 25 August Posted 25 August Mavididi to Stoke would be hilarious. They're finally going down this year. He can secure his third in a row.

Lesta Legend Posted 25 August Posted 25 August It’s hilarious as there is by the looks of it nothing on the horizon for him. The clubs demands I’d imagine need to become more realistic.

kingpowerout Posted 25 August Posted 25 August I swear that Pearson bloke looks like he spends most of his afternoons watching the scores come in down the local 1
LCFCCKEANO Posted 25 August Posted 25 August Last Pearson had an orgy that led to us winning the league, more of the same please 1
coolhandfox Posted 25 August Posted 25 August Pearson link is just someone putting 2+2 together and getting 22. Same happens with Souttar and the CB Sheff U didn't want. 2
StanSP Posted 25 August Posted 25 August One can only hope it's a permanent move for them, especially Faes and Mavididi.
funkyrobot Posted 25 August Posted 25 August Isn’t Pearson an absolute shithouse? We could seriously do with a nasty snide git in midfield kicking people. 2

Lets remember we are paying Hamza a fortune here. If we can get a player as good for half the wages its a win. Edited 26 August by Jon the Hat 1
Claudio Fannieri Posted 26 August Posted 26 August Living in Preston, I saw Pearson a fair few times, at PNE he was excellent and if he could replicate that level, would be deemed a very good signng however since he left PNE he has been nowhere near the same player, personally I would prefer to see us bring in a younger more mobile, athletic, combative central midfielder. 1
Ric Flair Posted 27 August Posted 27 August Got a horrible feeling he ends up staying and that will be a major problem.

Just looking through the clubs I think he's been linked with and Rangers, Middlesborough and Stoke all look about sorted. There is also Mehmeti and Cleary available in his position.
