Surely we have a case against Everton for 22/23

And if it isn’t just about the amount of points deducted then Forest as well?

Chelsea and Manchester City too.

Just sue the Premier League tbh.

The court should take 150 million off Leeds and award it to us for being time wasting ungracious ****s. You could argue they would be in a worst position now and we might not be had things worked out differently as it was a lot easier to stay up last season. Hopefully the ****s get relegated back to league 2 where they belong.

The Burnley/Everton case worked because it was covered by a specific Premier League rule. I'm yet to see anyone mention if the EFL has the same rule. If not then Leeds have no argument whatsoever.

But we should definitely be looking into starting our own proceedings just in case.

They already changed the rules to punish us retroactively after having spent years breaking their own rules to try and punish us. I'm sure they can invent one just for this case.

The 50/1 for us to go down looks very tempting now.

It is but seems to be fake odds, I couldnt find a bookies doing outright league one relegation bets.

Nice timing this just as it looks like we are about to sign a few players something like this pops up which will probably be used as a reason not to

We'd only get a fine which the club could pay easily cause they are extremely wealthy...doesn't go against PSR. They won't win anyway for the reasons outlined above by others!

They shouldn’t win, but they will. Hopefully it can just come out of king powers pocket and not impact the club at all. So boring, the moment there is an any sort of shift of positive vibes with some outgoings, something PSR related comes back to us. The whole landscape is so depressing now.

This could actually be the start of the end of football, if this continues and clubs start legal proceedings it will just become a death spiral. I am honestly at the point that it would be better for their to be no spending restrictions, PSR, SCR etc because it is no longer about what goes on the pitch but more about financial spreadsheets, breaches, loopholes, points deductions, fines and now litigation.

The game is being destroyed.

This is what happens when a league doesn't have robust rules and procedures in place and be quick to move.

Also what happens when Americans get involved with sport, litigation, they can litigate off. I hope Leeds have a very spectacular failure this season. Always been a hateful club supported by neanderthal  bell ends, this cements it.

Did we make them get thumped by QPR and play like pansies against Southampton.

Nobody takes responsibility or wants to look at themselves anymore. It's always someone else's fault now.

Leeds are a disgrace and their fans frothing at the mouth wanting us to go out of business because of the ‘we predict a riot’ song are an embarrassment. Literally the thinnest skin out they, they can’t even take a joke of a chant.

If Carlsburg did relegations this season, the 3 from the PL would be Coventry, Forest and Leeds!

Went up by 7, 6 points deduction. If the Burnley/Everton case is used as the right for Leeds to sue, then the case immediately falls down on that alone.

Well, this is it. Leeds are attempting to use Burnley's action against Everton as a precedent, but in reality the two cases are completely different. Burnley's case centred on the argument that had Everton's six-point deduction been imposed in the season in which the breach occurred, Burnley would have avoided relegation because they finished four points behind. Leeds cannot make the same argument because had our six-point deduction been imposed in 23-24, they'd still have finished behind us. So Leeds must be arguing that our six-point deduction, which was ratified by an appeal panel, did not fully reflect the advantage gained from the PSR breach—which is completely unprovable. I'm no legal expert, but I suspect Leeds are going to find it much harder to argue their case than Burnley did.
