Can we not just put Jakub on an intense passing, control and dribbling regime for 2 months?

Let's be honest its a waste of time when he's passing to Okoli, Souttar and Skipp

29? He’s 36, 37 in December!

Oh Christ it must've been a different one I was looking at. 36 you say. It bledy shows as well. I'd be embarrassed moving and reacting like that if I was his age.

Chaplin I think is 29.

But yeah, McCarthy has no business being first choice.

No. Martin appears to have a strange opinion as far as MCCarthey is concerned.  Hopefully he u-turns on this choice.

It will inevitably happen. McCarthy always ends up losing his place due to key errors. We just have to wait for those to occur in enough frequency for Martin to revert the lad back to where he has spent the vast majority of his career - as a back up keeper. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Really odd to sign a guy that you know doesn't suit your style of play and make him number one. I think once he's had a few games and shaken off the rust, he'll be fine being an actual goalkeeper. Although I don't particularly think he'd be an improvement on Stolarcyk.

However, I'd certainly expect near weekly instances of him gifting possession to opposition forwards, against any teams that are brave enough to press us.

This signing really is evidence that nothing has really changed, and manager's can sign people they have worked with before regardless of it they're suitable or not.

Don't blame the guy for taking 2 more years earning good money though.

Where the f4ck have we dragged this lunatic from.

I have never seen such a slow Goalkeeper. His legs move in slow motion. So many hospital passes today, ,and so predictable when playing out the back.

Dare i say it, Okoli at fault for the first, but a decent keeper gets closer to it.

Just drop him please.

If prisoners can get released half way through a 2 year sentence for good behaviour, is there any chance that if we behave ourselves, this clown can be gone in a few months instead of having to wait the whole 2 years?

The ball goes so slowly into the goal - no footwork whatsoever

I'm afraid we've got a Ward Mark II

Absolutely awful. Was in life for both goals and he might as well have been in a different postcode

I said this in one of the other threads Martin doesn’t want players because they play his style, he wants players that will agree with him and back him up. He’s just signing players that kiss his arse

Definitely a mates club forming.

Any other manager doesn’t sign McCarthy and Cullen for starters.
