Half a Vipotnik would do.

7 goals in 42 apps in his first season with Swansea. We underestimate the adjustment/time that will be needed (see also: Jamie Vardy), which makes it mad to pin our hopes on this guy. Hoping we get someone a little more proven - probably on loan - otherwise we may have to Moneyball our way to scoring enough goals via all the wingers/attacking mids we have accumulated already.

we need this lad to have a similar impact to what Vipotnik has had at Swansea please!

Been doing some reading up on the lad on the few things you can find online being said about the lad from his own fans etc

Sounds like abit of a no nonsense beast, hard working, runs his legs off and likes a good rustle up with his opponents which in league one….ain't a bad thing at all providing he’s not a total head case, and has an eye for a goal

none of which means anything with him essentially being an unknown and untested at this level but as far as ticking boxes goes on “taking a punt”, he’s an exciting punt

Hope he arrives with that Eastern European attitude no sh**s given let’s have it and just goes for it

wife thinks he’s a good looking chap as well so if he flops it’s a lose win

You still can't be trusted as a scout since the Tete fiasco.

This. I was lured into the whole Tete is a god thing and still believed after the first game. Curse you.

I'll forever be ignored from that one faux pas and the club will continue to suffer from such injustice.

Where is he now?

Thought Tete, Kristiansen and Souttar were going to see us push up to middle table after we beat Villa 4-2 and Spurs 4-1.

Paul DePodesta I think it was who calculated the amount of runs needed by the A's to qualify for the playoffs each year. If he could build a squad with Billy Beane that should on average generate those runs over a season he was happy. The playoffs were too unpredictable for him to reliably analyse (at least at the time).

How many goals do we need to make the top 2? Can we acquire enough players to generate the required XG? Interesting way of looking at it though the way Beane and DePosta did it in MoneyBall would be slaughtered on here as they were happy to sign vets for their final decent season, players deemed unfashionable or unusual players with specific USPs. Basically think Pearson picking up Gray Taylor-Fletcher and Phillips on short term deals. They also weren't afraid to sign, see value climb and then immediately offload before having to hand out a contract at market value.

Maybe you will be better recieved in future if you stop calling people names and attempt to come across as a decent person?
