Didn't we only take 4 points from Sheff W, Ipswich both newly promoted under Enzo in 4 games.

Lost away a Plymouth who finished 4th from bottom.

On the back of 2 wins in 20?

And were the games consecutive or are you picking random games in between long winning periods.

Am I the only one who thought we looked poor today. Knocked it about the pitch without much urgency and whilst we created chances, almost all were half chances, and the only good ones we did have were squandered

Are we not seeing the passes or just executing them poorly. If it's the first you can coach that, if it's the movement you can coach that. If it's the technique/Skill to actually pick the pass we could be waiting a long time these players are playing in league 1 for a reason.

We’re still quite easy to defend against; we offer very little threat from wide areas so defences can just stay narrow and snuff out our play around the box in central areas.

no. We took 6 points, and Ipswich while newly promoted finished 2nd. Do you see anything from Notts or franchise FC to suggest they'll challenge up the top end

We probably only need 3 players we probably only needed 6-8 at the start of the window. Reminds me of when we sold Heskey and bought about 10 players with the money instead of 3 or 4 really good signings.

Not random if you actually read the conversation

It was by far our best league performance of the season. We had more than enough chances to win that. Am I daft for seeing some encouraging signs? Maybe my expectations have been worn down so much.

Don't twist my words on this. I am by no means happy with a draw. I just think you're lying to yourself if you didn't think that performance was better.

It was fine in the middle of the pitch. Lots of quick passing etc. But we didn’t trouble them. They were content with that. We were fortunate that they offered nothing at the other end so we got a draw.

We can’t even blame it on needing another striker. It was purely about the lack of meaningful chances created. Lots of soft efforts from distance. Watson was a one trick pony cutting in and doing nothing. Alves should have we been on sooner as he gave them something else to think about going down the outside.

and Foxestalk is still free

Yeah maybe if he would left it at that as opposed to glazing about the performance on another day win comfortably was that sarcasm as well

The point is a team that goes up this season couldn’t have asked for a better 3 opening fixtures really (on paper at least)

If you assume we do finish this season even in the playoffs, we’re already playing catch up to those other teams who’ve had tougher starts than we have.

Just make it easy for teams I feel, yeah we had the ball a lot but they are than happy to soak it up and try to catch us out. We had chances sure but apart from Reid’s we didn’t actually trouble them too much. It’s very much Martin ball what I expected after his rangers spell, no different. The football isn’t winning football

Very frustrating in isolation but over the course of a season if we play like that then we'll be there or there abouts.

There being where exactly

Fine in what sense? We need promotion or we go bust.  We will absolutely not be fine.

Disappointing result but more encouraging IMO. Thought there was good effort shown as well in the second half which is good.

Played a lot of football in front of MK Dons. They were fine with that. Never really got behind their defence to stretch them and when we finally did we’d lose composure. Watson pissed a right decent chance up the wall on the counter in a 2 on 2

Are we not entertained?  We have the possession football many seem to desire. It’s great isn’t it?

Not much we can do except keep supporting our club and hoping things change. I just don’t think they will. I didn’t think we’d get relegated last season and I’m quite pessimistic about us at the moment. We  surely can’t do it again, but I’m not so sure.

We had a shot every 4 minutes and hit the post twice.

Question the finishing sure, but tippy-tappy wasn't the problem.

Some of those shots though were largely long range and not particularly dangerous. The xG is only 1.53 which isn’t a great showing from 20+ shots.
