That's your choice.

2 out of the starting 11 yesterday underperformed last season and need to find employment elsewhere.

6 weren't even at the club.  Half that starting line up are literally finding their feet at L1 and under 21.  So why boo them, we were literally booing within 15 mins.as

Burns and Watson were both crap yesterday, but they are putting in basic effort.

Every fan wants the same thing which is to get out this division ASAP, I'd just rather we are positive about the guys that are doing the right stuff

I wasn't booing them, I wasn't there.  My point is a general one, not about yesterday or last week but four years of mismanagement.  We should not clap along as the club slowly dies.

I completely agree.

I also think the next three games are now massive for the clubs future, will we have too much work to do to get out of this league position when the wins finally come. Obviously if the wins don’t come we won’t be getting out of this league position, our negotiating position for potential buyers is weaker and the threat of bankruptcy or whatever is greater.

We also need a few of the players to click and start working together to score goals for fun. I haven’t noticed any repeated patterns in our play that try to put a player in a goal scoring position yet, but maybe they are working on it at the training ground and it hasn’t happened on the pitch yet.

I think we just dont employ any goalscorers to be the focal point. We have signed 1 potential goalscorer in Bristric, but it was never likely that he would hit the ground running. Then we have Alves, Page & Braybrooke who will probably get 5 odd goals a piece. Other than that I don't know where the goals are coming from.

Disagree, we’ll hit our lowest point in the next two or three weeks and then we’ll have to wait until next August until we can go lower.

You can't disagree with a fact.

Well It’s not a fact, but the joke being that we’ll hit the bottom in a couple of weeks and will then have to wait until relegated and next season to hit even further lows.

I feel just as disconnected with much of the fanbase as I do the players and board these days.

It's really frustrating we're this shit. But that is the reality and people expecting performances from 10 years ago aren't living in the real world.

I hoped bombing out hated players and building the team around young local players might help unite us, but it seems to not really matter.

It's probably simplistic / nostalgia for simpler times, but I do think the only way to get the fanbase to quickly support the team is aligning it with our past.

Manager Nigel Pearson with Kasper Schmeichel / Christian Fuchs as his assistant to train up was the obvious route to go down. Maybe we'll do that next time...

No one is.

People are just expecting a bit more than two points from the teams we’ve played. MK Dons were one of the worst opposition I think I’ve ever seen us play

Why?

Because we’ve signed £6million worth of players and have a budget what dwarfs everyone else’s by some distance.

Recent teams in our shoes haven’t really had these teething problems. They’ve been on it immediately from game 1

I think the march outside the ground and plan protest are much better tham boo players.

For me the players are just the symptom the owner and Rudkin are the disease.

It’s hard for some people to grasp that there’s just no credit in the bank anymore. They aren’t going to get any more leeway. Only an idiot would be hopeful, knowing what we know about King Power, Rudkin and Russell Martin. Positivity just isn’t realistic.

TBF, I think the academy lads getting their first games in a completely unsettled team deserve some leeway.

Home atmosphere still seems rotten but the fans at MK Dons sounded great on TV, so hopefully we're moving in a positive direction.

King Power already have the club up for sale, and once it goes Rudkin will surely lose his bizarre protective shield. May as well as support the young players in the meantime.

But as I’ve said above, they should be intelligent enough to understand that they are part of a bigger picture, it’s not personal. Is there any real evidence the players, as individuals, aren’t being supported? People still turn up in big numbers, they don’t boo individual players or target them. We cheer when they score or clap when they complete a 20 yard pass still, I assume?

It also really depends on what the priority is. For a lot of people, getting Martin, Top and Rudkin away from the club is just as important as promotion. And considering promotion looks unlikely, prioritising a negative atmosphere could be considered a tactic to speed up the exit.

Personally, I think boycotting is better, but after years of people telling us we were in League One once and to be careful what we wish for, no amount of negativity in the fans is unjustified. If the attendance was 0 or it was 90 minutes of pure booing, I actually might start to love the club again. Because the club isn’t the players, it’s the fans. And that would be a show of pride we needed and we’ve not had.

Btw you can’t subtract the past from the current as Martin attempted to do.

There are still some of the same errors being carried out. There’s been some good work but we are back with few hours before the window shuts needing to pull off an incredible amount of transfer work. AGAIN

The lack of communication from anyone at a higher level of the football side of the club. AGAIN

Ive never even heard McCarron’s voice yet he was straight up doing interview for Lommel when he took the job there

it’s a lot to love on when the institution is effectively still the same

The point is, that’s not the fault of the players playing yesterday or a manager trying to rebuild a decimated squad. Two things can exist at the same time - acknowledging a positive performance from a young team that deserved more than a point doesn’t mean anyone approves of the ownership or mismanagement of the club.

People moaning because people are moaning.

We've won 18 of our last 87 games. We're heading for the bottom 4 in LEAGUE ONE.

So & so played well.....we had xx possession doesn't matter. This club is spiralling. I don't happen to agree with individuals getting booed at this stage, especially the younger players we've been desperate to see get a chance, but I totally understand the frustration. If you're happy to clap another week without a win fine, but have a broad enough mind to recognise it's not good enough for a lot of people.

Yeah and I haven’t mentioned the booing. I am countering the general point of negativity and the ideology that a reset has taken place

Against Notts and Burton there were genuine reasons to be negative because it was the same utter shite we have been watching for years. However, after Ipswich and dons, there are genuine reasons for positives. Concern remains putting the ball in the back of the net of course but as a fan after the last few years, you’ve to find positives somewhere otherwise your just going to hate going and be miserable all the time. Braybrooke, Joseph, Page, Alves have all been really good so far this season and dons was the most dominant we’ve been in a game I can remember for a long time.

we aren’t in league one because of Russell Martin, we’re in league 1 because of Jon Rudkin and King Power. Whether you like him or not, he’s here. He ain’t going to be sacked. That’s  a team of a lot of young players and our own lads.

I didn’t like the reaction after the game yesterday. Was far too over the top from some. I didn’t clap them off because we didn’t win and should have but some of the abuse they were getting was wayyyy over the top. How are our young lads meant to flourish when they are seeing fans lose their heads after we completely dominate a game?

I get the foundations are fragile but at some point, surely people must just get bored of being miserable. I’m seeing progress on that team and something to get behind.

(Leicester 0-3 Plymouth 😁

Exactly this.

We didn’t have a player literally yawning before the game. None of these players will cup their ears to the crowd and tell us to **** off. No players posting pictures of themselves in a boozer on the day of a game or more worried about their poodle needing a walk instead of training.

Looking at JJ, braybrook, Alves, Oluko etc…I’m excited. I wanted youngsters who care about the city and the club. I now have them but the cost is some inconsistency and watching some lads learn the hard way. But it’s what I wanted. I’ll happily support them and stand up for them.

I've calmed down after yesterday lol

I think the negativity is born out of frustration that it feels like nothing has changed from years of utter tripe. I was there and felt very frustrated with the way we play. Not the players, the system. I'm so happy to have so many academy players representing the club and being the best players on the pitch. That has to be a source of pride for the fans. I certainly am.

However for me it's the system restricting them. They can play more freely but the tactics don't allow it. I'm hoping that this is just because it's a new blend of new signings and young players. But I believe if they were allowed to go more direct and the movement was better instructed, we could have beaten MK with ease. But it just felt they had the handbrake on.

I didn't boo, and wouldn't but I was definitely highly frustrated. Martin is right it's years of disappointment and not winning games. Start winning and the fans will be back in side. Easier said than done. I just hope it clicks as we are certainly good enough.

I didn't want Martin, but I don't want to be changing managers every 6 months, it's tiring. I hope it works for him, and he seems to have the youngsters on board.

On this, we can all agree that the last four or so years have been dreadful. A totally miserable experience as we have plummeted from our best ever period (2015-2021), to our worst (as of yesterday). Supporting City has been grim. We have a disinterested owner, his sidekick appears totally incompetent, and now we have a manager who could not be more Brent if he tried. I think he's a charlatan.

But my point is going to the football is meant to be fun, or else, well, what is the point? Yesterday's atmosphere was ok, somewhat half hearted, and from my vantage point over to the right, the booing at the end of the game seemed pretty isolated.

We now know King Power wants to sell. So change is on the way, and I think that's a good thing.

Question is, will our lads respond to a positive atmosphere, or a negative one? I don't know about you, but I know I respond to positivity more than negativity, even now at the age of 60. And certainly when I was in my late teens or early 20s.

So as justified as negativity might be, it's quite simply my view that our players will perform better if they're not scared of getting booed the moment they make a mistake. And going down the City might just be more enjoyable if we try and make it more enjoyable.

And if you dare to disagree with my post I'm coming round your house and booing you all day tomorrow.

I’m torn with this. On the one hand, the negativity will get us nowhere, you have to give a new manager and particularly young players proper support. It’s stupidity to be booing them 3 games in.

But I also can’t stand this blind positivity and loyalty a huge amount of our fans have. There’s no doubt in my mind, it has helped get us into this mess. The whole fanbase should have been fuming at least 2/3 years ago at the way our club was being run. There’s still so many people that don’t really care what is happening.

I imagine the booing is towards Top and Rudkin (include RM) rather than the players

Nobody is asking you to clap along to the club's death.

They're simply asking people to not boo a young team when the performance has actually improved and we are actually making team changes to remove the crap.

Honestly wonder how half the people on here have gainful employment with the negative, moaning, whiny attitudes on display.

I am anti KP and won’t attend any game until they’re gone, but even I agree about booing the youngsters.

I think (hope) the simple solution will be to get rid of the remainder of the ‘old guard’ and then you’ll hopefully see the boos stop

I’m probably about the most miserable and negative poster on here regarding City, and I’ve come to hate the club to be honest. And a lot of the fans too (KPFC ones)

However, I’m absolutely buzzing for the academy lads, as they’re genuinely the reset (or beginning of) we’ve so badly needed.

If it didn’t mean us going bust, I’d take a couple of seasons in League 1 watching these grow and them getting us up and finally giving us a team we can be proud to be associated with again.
