surprised not to see the new defender start. However if this side can't dispatch Plymouth we really are in trouble. There is now at least competion for the strikers position .

Nicest thing I’m willing to say about Bobby is that he offers more than Ayew did, and I think based on evidence so far, he is preferable to Cullen behind a striker

What should've happened is Alves to become the 10 (I'm sure I saw an interview where he himself said that was his favoured position) and we should have purchased Abdul Abdulmalik very early on in the window, for the left hand side.

Cullen was always a poor choice.
