McCarthy getting ironic jeers off his own support this early on in his Leicester City career is quite the occurrence.

Poor Bristric looks terrified every time he gets the ball. Hopefully settle down a bit soon, needs a tap in or something!

Martin knew exactly how bad McCarthy is on the ball, so persisting with this feels almost deliberate. Is he trying to engineer his own sacking?

We're never gonna score again, shitty forwards' with no talent, far too easy to defend, please come back JV oh.  Should have known better than to sign a dud, who'll waste the chances he's been given, so we're never gonna score again the way with did with him.

Russell recruiting McCarthy makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Why would a manager bring in a player who he knows from his own experience of managing them that they cannot play the style of football that manager insists on? It's inexplicable.

He's looked really poor. Very raw. Needs a lot of time to settle from looks of it.

 

He does do some decent movement now and again but doesn't get played through.

 

But he looks absolutely miles off it at this level.

Nope.
