We’ve now got a squad of very poor players . No manager will make any difference now , the ship has sailed . At some point we may chance on a combination of players and a manager who gets best out of a squad , but I fear this is the level where we for a while .

Too far gone give it 5 years at least .

I know what you mean, but the other squads in this division are terrible as well.

 

An average manager would have us top half, a good one would have us challenging for automatic promotion.

 

Momentum is a huge thing in football - the season can still be saved.

Totally agree, who/what gives us the right as individual fans to judge others reasons and motives for supporting the club.  As it’s a feeling sounds like it’s not based on logic or most importantly fact.

I would suggest that most fans want the same thing, the club & players not to be crap.  All fans want some positivity & a modicum of “success”.  They want to be proud of supporting their club and want it to be an enjoyable & a rewarding experience.

The longer this prat stays the more inclined I am to agree with you. 
But anyone half decent gets us up the table pretty quickly. 
I’m amazed Martin is still here and will by the looks of it will get the Doncaster and Bromley games.

Cant agree with that im afraid, I believe we do have one of if not the best squad in the league. The issue is how that squad is being coached and utilised. A better more pragmatic manager woukd certainly get a tune out of this squad, we just need Marrin booted aside to get the right man in.

Based on what? We have no pace, strength or fight in this team.A new manager needs something to work with, Russel is dreadful, but the players have been just as bad.
I hope a new manager gets more out of them, but it’s only hope, not seen any evidence of us having a good squad, praying i’m wrong

I just can't see him dropping to League 1, sadly. But definitely one I could get behind.

We do have some good players just playing the wrong style for the last 3 out of 4 yeara

Who could we possibly get in who’s readily available, experienced in this division and hasn’t finished outside the top 6??? 
 

It really shouldn’t be this difficult for this clowns but I’m sure they fvck it up.

I agree with you Phild the team is full of quality players for this level. Just need a manager who can sort out when to attack and when to defend. The passing game looks great but often without any real damage to opponents. The team needs more discipline when moving forward and less players pushing up at every opportunity. I am a Hartlepool supporter who has a large bet on Leicester in a double with West Ham. I have watched 5 or 6 games now and see a lot of quality & movement in the team. Its fine margins and must be frustrating for you lot but its 💯 not out of the question you still win this league this season.

The sooner your leaders employ Challinor the sooner you get back to enjoying your football and the sooner you win the league. I would absolutely hate him going to Sheff Wed because I detest the " big i am " supporters.

The problem is our current owners are interested in a big name rather than someone who has done well in the lower leagues.

That’s why we’ve got Mr Ego when it was obvious that we should have got Challinor in the summer. 
I hope we get him but nothing surprises me with the clowns we’ve currently got.

Why would he go from La Liga to League One though? Surely not
