For me the Luton will be the test to see if this is going to work and then we push on. 2 wins is great and it adds momentum to the team and confidence, but both teams were poor. But not taken away the fact we've won 2 in a row and we're more direct which is a massive improvement.

The passing side is still there, but it's less faffy and more with purpose. That is a big improvement. There is definitely more movement off the ball as well, so credit to Martin for that.

There is no surprise that the team functions, when playing the right system. Just a shame the owner is on record, wanting to play the wrong way for 4 seasons now. Back to RM. Fair play to him, for adjusting finally. He had to change it, because this sacking would have been curtains for his management career. Have we turned the corner. I hope so. That BTEC Spanish football, does not fit a League One team.

God knows, but I hope 2 wins on the bounce gives the players some much needed confidence, and that Russel has learnt something about the formation and players which he can carry forward.

He needs to do a lot more or a lot longer period of time.

He still persists with some absolute shite in Cullen, BDR, O'Hara etc

When we come up against a reasonable side can he make a positive difference - I have my doubts

We’ve already beaten the current leaders of the division (and bookies’ favourite for the title) at their place.

Thing is, the best thing for us as a club is we get promoted. So I hope he has turned a corner. He's also been less stubborn in the past 2 and mixed it up at bit. Still a lot of possession but bit more aggressive without the ball and direct at times.

If we get results in all of the next 3 I'll believe we've turned a corner.

It's too early to say if he's turned a corner.

I don't like Martin and never will, just something about his patronising personality.

If he keeps winning and playing the current football, I'll support him because I'm a Leicester fan and want the club to get promoted this season.

Didn't he start slowly with Southampton?

After 10 games in 23/24 Southampton were in 10th place with 16 points. We’re in 10th place with 15 points after 10 games.

Spot on.

I have big concerns on his squad selection, in game tactics and of course his god damn awful substitutions.

I've not worked out if he's an over of under thinker. I think the latter as some of his decisions are plain thick.

I'll be getting behind the team that's for sure.

It's great to get behind some players worth watching - Alves, Braybrook, Page, Doyle, Lundstram, JJ and Riis are eminently more watchable and likable that the dross of the last 5 years

Also, McCarthy much more reliable (famous last words) than his 1st few games where he had all of the dexterity, coordination and agility of your old grandad going for a piss

Sacking managers doesn’t work here, so yes I think so - and I say that as someone who didn’t care for him or want him. But he’s here and I want him to do well, and really want some of the negativity to go away (though obviously still KP out) otherwise we’re stuck in this vicious cycle forever.

I’m hoping we’ve turned a corner, much like he did at Southampton at a similar stage, and we now go on a run.

So not yearning for the likes of Ayew, Vestergaard not trying on a big wage?! 😂

Our first 2 wins in a row since November, granted against Doncaster and Bromley, but confidence building and togetherness has to start somewhere.

I don’t think we’ve turned a corner but we appear to be heading in a better direction, if we lose to Luton on Saturday then everyone will feel we are back to square one hence my reluctance to say we’ve turned a corner yet.

But not to get carried away with anything, based on the last two performances and set up there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be beating Luton Wigan and then Stevenage!

If we do that and get 15 points from five wins, then yes, I’d be more inclined to go along with having slightly turned a corner.

We need this streak, there’s been a lot of changes to the squad granted but it’s been too poor a start, sufficient progress really needs to be evident now

A showing of support to the team will help towards that, especially at home against Wigan after hopefully 3 wins on the bounce, our home form needs too pick up, the lads haven’t been enjoying playing at the KP for me quite clearly, if we beat Luton then we need to then build on creating a fortress like mentality against Wigan and Stevenage, then all of a sudden the tables have turned imo

I’m doing that thing as a football fan where if you think it’s not unreasonable to think we should have had at least 4 more points (converting draws into wins and MK and Barnsley). If we did have 4 more points we’d be 5th which puts a completely different complexion on things.

Fine margins in football, and hopefully we can now land on the right side of those margins and climb the league.

Lets see how our next few games go, Luton, Wigan and Stevenage.

I am not sure if he is the right man for us yet but 2 wins on the bounce should give the players some much needed confidence.

The issue is that there is really no other good Manager options out there.

I’d turned against him before the 10 game guide, due to us conceding in amateurish ways. But he or someone else, has made him change to three at the back, and it’s working. The players seem to be thriving with this formation.
