Really good flick but take a calculator and a dictionary when you see it.

Just watched the revenant, I thought it was excellent. Di caprio and Tom Hardy are on form and some other good performances. It's not the easiest of films to follow but it's well worth the time.

Hateful Eight, Tarantinos worst film, too long, dull for the first 90 mins and then goes to an interval! Best thing about the film was Jennifer Jason Leigh who puts in a good performance, Tarantino has always been known for his clever witty dialogue but the dialogue here misses the mark on both accounts.

It's a pretty heavy subject matter and the first half isn't pleasant in places, but it's absolutely fantastic. It's a must see and Larson and Tremblay play brilliant parts.

Watched Mississippi Grind. A drama about to gamblers travelling through America South trying to change their fortune. Not too bad but a tad slow. The background music is bluesy which I don't mind and gave the right feel when they were in seedy bars.

A little bit of poker in it but not enough to see whole card play.

Just about worth 6.5.

 

Looking for films starting with N. Not really found much in the newer ones.Best possible is Narcoppolis. Futuristic crime thriller where all drugs are legal and about a couple of cops investigating a drug supply company who are supplying uncontrolled ones on the street.

Watched Room at the weekend - didn't really know what to expect whether it would be like a horror film and disturbing etc, but its really not its hard to actually put it in genre the suspense is fantastic and the story as a whole is brilliant. Would say its a 9/10 film and the little lad in it is incredible in it, if you get chance watch his acceptance speech he gives for the award he wins! so humble for a 9 year old.

 

Also watched the hateful 8 - mental film still don't no if I liked it or not! some bits are good some of it is shockingly bad. Would say a 6/10

Watched women in Gold and Jurassic World over the weekend. 

 

Completely different films but i loved them both!
