2nds struggling v Hants who were bowled out for 343 County 70-4 Javid made 16 Ali 10 and Dearden 15

Players that have got them there are not playing!

We have gone back to the likes of Dearden, Ali and Javid! Why oh why do we persist with this tripe!

Anyone know how day2 of the seconds finished? No point looking on the county site as they’ve only got day 1 🙄

Yep getting hammered Hants made 343 we were bowled out for 187 Hill making 60odd Hants batting again currently 172-4 shocking that the Leics Twitter page just ignores a major final the Hampshire Twitter page keeps you informed

I know they need cash but just seems to be a calendar of events for Prosecco mums down there now.

The one event that did raise a decent amount of money was the Elton John concert in 2016.Not sure why they haven't done one since.Good money spinner which most Counties use inc Derby and Northants

2nds lost by 148 runs Javid top scoring with 86 which I imagine will be his last knock for the Foxes

Shame the seconds got beat, don’t follow them closely but can we take any positives that they reached the final as in are there a good crop of youngsters that helped them reach the final or was it just the same old faces...

Just listening to England's dismal series defeat to the Aussies thought i would stir the chat for LCCC squad for next season. As were likely to finish bottom of Div 2, just wondered which players are under contract for next season?

Just did a little bit of research and thought the following players could be targeted as an overseas signing:

-Rahmat Shah- Only 26 years old, Just scored a ton against Bangladesh and averaging 49 in FC. Can also bowl some leg breaks, Afghans have few tests or ODI's in 2020 so could be obtainable for the whole season in all formats.

-Haris Sohail- All rounder 30 years old, averages over 40 wit the bat across all formats, as Pakistan are touring England we should be able to offer some game time for the early part of the summer. A few of the teammates will want some county appearances so prices for players should be competitive.

just a few options just depends on funds available

Think they will clear out Javid Ali Dexter and you would think Klein but they seem to rate him for some reason so not sure on that one.The top 4 batting line up picks itself Azad Horton Ackermann Cosgrove could do with someone coming in to bat at 5 an overseas all rounder would be useful suppose they will look to keep Dearden at 6 God knows why or maybe play our exciting new signing Rhodes unless he gets called up by England Hill or Swindells at 7 then Taylor and take your pick out of Parky Griffiths Davis Wright maybe Evans for the final 3 places.Could do with at least 1 more specialist bat another spinner and maybe 1fast bowler. An overseas all round Darren Stevens and maybe Mark Footitt are signings I would like us to make.

Interesting. Overseas options. Windies touring?

The Shah option would be great. Create interest.

Not sure who's on what contract, Javid, Ali, Dexter will go. Dearden isn't good enough.

I'd like to see Lilley get a few games. I have a hunch he is a player that can improve. Play as a spinner who can bat. Parkinson averages 45 with the ball in red ball cricket so surely worth a look?
