Agreed get Lilley signed as top priority.

Welch looks a bit of a dasher. Maybe more suited to 5 in the CC.

Someone like Kragg Brathwaite would be good depending on their touring schedule with Azad and drop Sam Evans to 3 so Ackerman is protected a bit from the new ball at 4.

Just had a look at the county ins and outs and there will be more players available than ever due to covid affecting county incomes. Glamorgan have 10 players out of contract at the end of this season! Hopefully there will be a few options for the county to strengthen the squad, some interesting options available hopefully an least one experienced batsmen at the top of the order.

Let's hope we can get Malan back as our overseas player for the next season, if not subject to covid both Sri Lanka & India are touring in 2021 could be worth offering some of their players some playing time in english conditions.

According to the Kim Jones forum we are signing Ed Barnes from Yorkshire who has been on loan at Derby this season

Ahh. Modest record but has barely ever played. Seam bowling a relative strength tbh.

Kent clearout this summer and I'd be taking a look at quite a few who are rumoured to be being released. Bit of an embarrassment of riches, including some young guys with plenty of potential who just need a run in the side.

Yep son is a member at Kent lives in Canterbury

He reckons 6 or 7 will leave. Their squad is massive. They have about 10 good batsmen

Spot on.

Ivan Thomas is a decent shout you've made before.

But we could have our pick of a number of talented middle order and top order bats.

The young Essex batter we had on loan whose name has escaped me will probably be signing.

Rishi Patel? That right. Looked quite good. Didnt get many but only played one game against a good attack

The young lad Dylan Church seems a good batting prospect. Anyone know much about him?

Played against him this year and he was probably the pick of the academy lads on that particular day.

I don't really see why we didn't continue to open with Swindells. He may not be the quickest but I think he'd have complimented the really explosive Delany nicely. Swindells has two fifties in the format to his name already which is more than Rhodes and Dearden combined. Welch looks ok but Swindells could have been groomed to hold down that role.
