Totally embarrassing. We are not playing a Surrey or Somerset team filled with internationals. Is this Gloucester team even better than ours?

We also lost to Glos in similar circumstances a few years back. Set them a generous target and lost by about 7 wickets. Not sure where we go from here.

Yes that was poor we even won a game against Glamorgan i think when we had Carberry as Capt did our best to lose it, but hold on Glos doing a Leicester

Yep Swindells nice lad and promosing cricketer but been dreadful behind the stumps this season. Only our attack could make Cockbain look a world beater

Our bowling this season has been as bad as our batting has been good.

Probably frustration and emotion speaking, but I'm seriously thinking that we are no long deserving of first class status. This has gone on for the best part of a decade now, with the club being uncompetitive and hardly winning a first class game. I guarantee that no other first class county would have lost that game.

True. Without Klein, there was only Evans, who was also getting carted everywhere, and Wright, who was probably knackered.

My County are embarrassing. Every single season, no matter the progress in certain areas, we manage to get embarrassed at some point. 

 

Why have we signed no bowlers?

This is not good enough, you should not be losing a match defending 350 on the last day of a wearing pitch. It's not the first time we have thrown away a great position and lost the game.

 

Four day cricket has been a waste of time for the county barring about three seasons in 20 years.

The bowling today was unforgivable. Sometimes you get beaten by a superb performance; but the bowling today was NEVER going to defend 350. Too much short and wide stuff.

 

Really really frustrating.
