Think there are still Covid restrictions in place across much of the region? Those games were buzzing pre-pandemic.

The idea that West Indians aren't interested in cricket now is wide of the mark. It's still the most popular sport in the Caribbean and they still produce world class short format players (would have them among the favourites for the T20 World Cup). But we only judge them on their Test record.

Anyway, pleasing end to the day even if it's probably too little, too late. Really was nowt in that pitch so we did well in the end. Get them back in early doors tomorrow and who knows...

Got an even money chance I reckon. Went today. Crowd was poor. Nice enough people.

Few of Barnes LBWs looked close and one of Wright's. Problem is we have the umpires backs up

I doubt there is anyone that doesn't know; but if you're interested in seeing/keeping an eye on whether we can force a positive result by bowling out Derbyshire twice; then here's the link:

You will have to put up with Richard Rae. Their guy is almost listenable by comparison.

Only if they keep throwing their wickets away like Tom Wood did.

Both Derbyshire and Northants have announced today that their Head Coaches will be stepping down. i doubt there will be any changes at Leics, Phil Whitticase was here for years past his sell-by date.

Two Chris Wrights would be very useful!

Just caught a bit of play. Anyone else think that LBW shout of Parky's against Goldleman looked a banker? But given not out.

Umpire Ramage has turned down a few like that in recent days...

Probably an easy decision to make, not consistent enough with a FC average of just 21 from 45 games. The clear out begins.....

Well most are on contract for next season so sadly not really.Dieter Klein has also left the club and Scott Steel in talks with the club to cancel contract which has 2 years left to run so a small clear out

Is that from a reliable source regarding Scott Steel? You do wonder how it's gone so wrong so quickly with him if this is true.

Dieter can concentrate on playing for Germany. There are T20 2022 qualifiers in Spain - October 15 to 21.

Apparently there was some fall out where he was not selected for a fixture, so he played a club game instead and then they called him up on the morning of the club game said you are in the team. It was apparently physically impossible for Steel to turn up for the game on time.

It’s defo a fall out cos Steel is one of the players that the stats fella picked out for white ball cricket

The under 15s seem to be on top. To be fair the opener Tom Haines is the leading red ball run scorer this season.

They seem to be playing only two actual batsmen. The rest are allrounders or keepers
