No, I was just pointing out that a deadly pandemic cannot cut through it, education can't. Some people refuse to listen or learn, so only Darwin can see it off. I'm not advocating anything, before anyone tries to warp what I said.

Agreed, though the problem with Darwin ending up sorting it out is that depending *on* the problem, it's not just the people who refuse to listen or learn that end up in the crossfire.

Goodness only knows what the solution is, I wish I did.

The truly unacceptable face of con artistry - con artists who can't even scam properly.

As much as the drivers etc. on the platforms feel they're struggling on their already-good salaries, they need to realise there's others on less coping and managing OK..

People who listen to commercial radio and moan about the adverts.

Some have no choice if it's piped into their place of work.

Yeah but listen to it 5 days a week and you'll be sick to death of Shed Seven and James if you weren't already

They're a bit bland for sure, but they're no worse than the presenters on Capital imo..

The spelling mistakes are by design.

Most people have some level of attention to detail but they are after the ones who wont even notice as they are more likely to fall for the scam. This is opposed to getting emails from people who question it but ultimately dont fall for it.

It also helps avoid spam filters, not always though.

Or any other commercial radio station where it's all about revenue. Get a couple of literate people who can string some meaningless words into a phrase and promote some shite competition to win a trip to Lapland for a day. It's all crap. So much so that I prefer R2 even with the insufferable and self-righteous Jeremy Vine. And the up-himself Scott Mills. So glad the even more up-himself, Steve Wright has been binned.

Even Sara Cox is getting repetitive these days. Probably the best out of a fairly poor bunch of mainstream daytime presenters.

Ken Bruce is leaving and taking "pop master" with him so that's disappointing. Only for "pop master" going. Not Bruce.

The only shows I make a point of listening to on i-player are Bob Harris, cos I like the genre and DJSpoony, again because I like the genre and his presentation is classy.

Tony Blackburn is like a cheap comedy act. Still entertaining but why?

R2 is probably the most listenable radio station for me. I'm right in their demographic.

If commercial radio stations got blitzed off the planet, I wouldn't care one bit.

So and so "slid into my DM's"

Makes me want to hurl every time I hear this.

Up there with "shoot me a text" or "ping me an e-mail"
