Maddog, we all agree that he was poor today.

But he's been fantastic the rest of the season....and the fact that you're happy he played bad is a joke. We all want him to perform well, not hoping he'll fcuk up for a moment of personal satisfaction on an internet forum, like you do.

Tosser.

Another disappointing performance, the first half was ok but the two centre-halves were caught square by one long ball which was disappointing. We were pretty shocking in the second half, when chasing the game all we do is just lob the ball in the box, there's just no gameplan. Fairplay to Andy King, didn't think he played particularly well but got on the end of three good chances.

Howard is the only hope we have of getting out of this mess...stop knocking him ffs!

Why that was aimed at me being one of his biggest arselickers (behind Ld3) I'll never know.

Stockport at home? Thought we had 3 away games coming up?

In my opinion Howards best displays have been away from the walkers, away from morons getting on his back. Stop basing your bone idol opinions on knowing fu.ck all.

Yes but i aint going to the away games so won't be commenting on him from the radio you arse.

Stop arselicking a poor player, whos sole reason for coming to this club was to score headers, how many has he scored, 1 :dunno:

And is supposed to not only win headers but actually head it in the right spot for our player to get it, or for Fryatt to run on to.

He hardly ever does that.

Blatantly i don't know fu.ck all, i haven't been to away games so couldn't comment.

ffs..I love Howard probably the only worker out there just lately!

You weren't at the match today were you.

He put absolutely no effort or work in today.

The only time he ran even for a second he was offside.

Tw*t..of course I was..you obviously were not..Howard gives his all..it may not have been good enough today but let's face it if your looking for lack of effort then our top scorer needs a boot up the rear...he's just not at the races...nice little pay rise and "I'm ok Jack"

All this Howard slating has left me wondering 1 thing...

How the fuck has Fryatt scored so many this season.

Exactly I suppose he was shit prolific partnered with Hume, Campbell, Cort etc.

There's more chance of me voting in maddogs oppometers than taking his opinions seriously.

Disappointed. I went RovRum-Gills instead. Just really disappointed, we didn't beat these.

It appears that we are replicating the rough spell we had around in October in the reverse fixtures against these teams.

Fingers crossed 2 sneaky wins and then playing a side who will come onto us in MK Dons will be the tonic.

It's all disappointing and there's no real argument for us this time.

last season we would of been losing these games... im still very optimistic MK dons and others will have their bad patches too.

am i the only one thats pleased. ok we should have won but weve bettered our record from this patch of games (which was our sticky patch earlier in the season)

we lost to brighton but drew second time.

drew to oldham both times,

we drew to northampton but came from behind to win 2nd time round.

we drew to walsall but battered them at their place

and now swindon, drew first time and drewq the second.

im happy, as long as we dont lose, im cool!

Not a great day, few positives to take from the game. We played the way league 1 is know for, i.e long balls and head tennis. We didn't play to our strengths i.e on the deck and a neat, flowing passing game. Reminded me of last season where we looked out of ideas and used Howard in the wrong way. The amount of long balls was shocking. We must never forget that we are top of the league for playing our way and with class and style. We have players capable of that, which however also means they are not suited to the way we played today, i.e cutting out the midfield and looping balls long to a congested final 3rd. We must learn that even when losing, we can't lose our template for success. We must stick to that no matter what. Thought a number of players looked off the pace today, maybe tired or maybe just not on it! Need to keep on our toes and battle for everything. Swindon played well and few players stood out for them. Hoepfully we can get back in to our stride quickly as if we continue to play at that level shown today, then team with start to catch us slowly but surely.

form is temporary, class is permanent. we were very poor today for most of the game but i still think we have what we need to go up. i was very disappointed with hobbs today, not particularly in his defending but in how he recycled possession (or didn't). every time he had the ball at his feet he just looked up and hoofed it, on half a dozen occasions straight back to swindon. today's game was frustrating because we couldn't keep the ball for long periods and gain a sense of momentum in terms of shots on goal. whilst the midfield are broadly accountable for this i still felt that hobbs should share some of the blame.

As I've said before, we don't particularly play the ball to Howard's head do we? No.

I can't remember the last time we played with genuine width and actually crossed the ball to his head. When we have wingers who can actually cross and somebody who can whip in a decent corner, you might have a case.

Anyway, back to the game. Another poor performance at home, hopefully things pick up with the 3 away games we've got coming up. We might not be playing to our best, but at least we're not losing.

One point gained.

A lot of our players are passengers right now i.e. Oakley, Dyer, Mattock etc.

Despite playing rather mediocre we're not exactly losing so I firmly believe we'll come good. Our bad patch would be considered a good run by a lot of clubs in the country.

If you are a moron, read the above post - it summarises our current situation. There again, you may need it on a podcast. Kareem, post your number so that people can phone you for a dose of common sense.

did any body else notice that every time they passed to Gilbert when he was trying to overlap they passed it behind him so he had to stop to get the ball and then had 2 or 3 defenders to beat, ffs how hard is it to pass the ball a yard or 2 in front of him so he can run onto it?

Oakley was the chief culprit as well

We didn't play particularly well and we didn't play particularly badly- somewhere in between.

Wanted the win but I'll take a draw, move on and see it as another point further away from third place.
