lildave3 Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Have I had a 'mare?Who actually has The Ashes at the moment? Little bit yeah
James. Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 I've had a 'mare Technically The Ashes are always in England (at Lords), the Australians only get a replica because they can't be trusted with them. So in a way you were kind of right. Sort of. That link worked for about 5 balls and then stopped!

Link still working for me - have you tried refresh?
Craig Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Superb Freddie, it'd be fitting if he got the final wicket too.
marko Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Brilliant, well done Fred. We're going to miss him big time.
Matt Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 all over by lunch time Hope you put money on that, Think it was about 5/2, I was quite tempted myself, but didn't bother.
Hitesh Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Awesome stuff by Freddie! His last wicket was from a shorter run up aswell. Johnson has done well to get 50 mind but its all in vain surely!
Tilley Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Nice to see Freddie get his 5 wickets. Fair play to Johnson, he's putting in a decent shift for Australia. Lets get this final wicket & wrap it up.
marko Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Great stuff!!! Cheer up Ricky, just blame it on the umpires.
Matt Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Great stuff!!!Cheer up Ricky, just blame it on the umpires. Whining Aussies.
Corky Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Flintoff was magnificent, and Swann bowled well too. Great to finally win at Lord's
Tilley Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Lovely stuff. Hopefully Flintoff can rest his knee for the next ten days before the next test and give a similar performance. Saying that, the whole team has played well in this test. Strauss & his 161 was brilliant, Jimmy Anderson was stubborn at the tail end in the first innings & Swann performed well with the ball. It's nice to see we don't have to rely on KP with the bat and have others to step in and score runs. Momentum is certainly with us after grinding out a draw in Cardiff and getting the win today, but it's far from over.
Milky Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 Look at them all come crawling back. Legendary spell form Freddie, and Swann has come back in style. Ahhh beautiful.
