Its been an interesting start to the season..

is it what you were expecting? hoped for more? delighted?

Add your thoughts too, if you like...

I don't see goals coming from anywhere else at the minute, the only other player who has looked likely to score has been N'guessan. Steves been playing well and linking up, but he needs to start scoring a few more, as do the midfield.

I am, yes.

I expect a mid-table finish come the end of the season, and we've shown signs of being capable of getting into the play-offs.

We've got off to a good start, given ourselves something to build on, we're not looking nervously over our shoulders at the bottom three, we're focusing upwards and that's a positive.

We've had some tough away trips, picked up some useful points, and collected 10 from 12 at home.

Although I am happy with our points total and the start we have made, I still chose 'a bit frustrated' because I think we could quite easily be in an even better position. Could have won at Ipswich, Sheff Utd and Watford and could have beat Peterboro as well but I suppose you argue a point that we could have maybe lost them games too. I think a play-off place is up-for-grabs this season and I see no reason we can't go for it.

Not taking anything away from our start though, if we finish where we are now then I'll consider it a decent season.

We are not taking enough chances. Yes we scored 3 today but it should have been 5 or 6. This is a worrying problem for me really, we have played average teams at home and only scored 6 in 4.

I'm hoping the goals do start to come, but we do have a couple of tricky games coming up.

Overall, I'm satisfied, but think we should really be 3 points better off at least. Perhaps I would have taken this start but think we really should have had at least one away win, but maybe I'm being greedy.

If we beat PNE I might be pleased.

We've not done ourselves justice in various ways. Happily Pearson well knows that. But at least he has something to build on and a group of players who can stand four square to anyone in this league at their best.

Good start. Aim of the game in this league is not to get beat and you'll be in with a shout at the end. Doing everything needed so far. Still expect a top 10 finish and then push on next season with a few additions.

I'm ecstatic, but we could be doing even better if we ironed out a few problems.

Bang on.

At the start of the season everyone would have taken this. We are a solid Championship team, and with a couple more signings, we could prove to be serious contenders for promotion in the future.

Absolutely delighted.

Other than having to make sure we perform for 90 minutes when we perform like we did aginst Sheff Utd and Watford, I am over the moon.

I am also loving the fact that we have 13 points and we feel we could have more, rather than thinking 'cor, how have we managed to amass 13 points, aren't we lucky'

Things are bright

Very happy with the start we've made but slightly frustrated with the fact i know we could be doing even better with a bit of fine tuning.

We have the coaching and playing staff in place to have a genuine crack at promotion (albeit via the playoffs) in my opinion.

My only concern would be that if we did go up this year (and it is a big if) it would be too much too soon and we would sink straight back down with potentially disasterous knock on effects.

As much as i would love us to win every game between now and the end of the season, a year of consolidation and team building may pay dividends in the long term.

Guees its all about what you expect.

Of the promoted sides you will be the highest placed and mid-table at least.

Got a natural goalscorer and are missing a couple of key defenders from what I read elsewhere which will help.

Higher than us anyway (we're a bit light on players and lack the experience for now)

I'm pleased how we are doing but I am worried about a few things from our most recent performances. We are also far too dependent on one player to score goals.

It's a good start - we've proven ourselves to be hard to beat even when we play badly. Obviously there is plenty of room for improvement, but to be doing so well at this stage is very promising. So long as we stay in touch with 6th place I will be happy.

I see your previous manager isn't exactly setting the world alight at Reading despite his clearly lofty ambitions.

I'd never have expected us to start this way, so I'm very pleased personally. It'd be nice to kick on from here and turn a few of these draws into wins though, that's where the business will be decided.

Over the moon.

We have so much potential and even after we've let a few results slip away we're still level on points with the play offs! if we can sort a few tiny things out and settle on a team we could have a fantastic season.

Anyone who isn't happy needs to have a word with themselves.

No...we play them next week though so better not say too much!

Trouble is he likes the passing and formation style that Chelsea (where he worked for years) employ without the world class players!

THF Rodgers did well with us but its the way he suddenly walked out which annoy fans (he made some comment about wanting to stay and being loyal is important..then left soon after)
