I myself like his juvenile sense of humour and as 2 of his best films ,Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer are on tonight,i was wondering if anyone else likes his brand of comedy?

I watched happy gilmore the other day for the first time and it's got to be said, its quite terrible!

I'm a big fan of big daddy and lil nicky though, think they're brilliant :D

I don't find him verry funny, its the same role over and over, I thought he was very good in Punch-Drunk Love but that wasnt a comedy role, anger management, the wedding singer they have funny moments, but he's hardly a genius.

To borrow from another thread...

Hugh Dennis > Steve Punt > Rob Newman > catching my bellend in the zip > the sarcastic one without any gags < Adrian Chiles < Frank Skinner < one of Adrian Chiles' fat turds

I reckon his films are pretty funny. Used to like them more than I do now but they still make me laugh without fail

It's what's technically known as growing up.

 yeh, i reckon thats why some people probably really dont like him and others do. It just depends on how mature you like your films. Theres not much deep comedy to his films

The last film I watched with him in it was dire. Funny People. Didn't like it much.

Having said that though, his best films were mid-90's, Happy Gilmore, Little Nicky, Mr Deeds. Like all those.

And actually quite like You Don't Mess With The Zohan :D

While he does often play the same character (which is pretty much himself), he shows how versatile he can be in films like Waterboy.

I love the guy really, he can do anything, from rude films to kids films, and make anyone laugh in the process. Bedtime Stories was one of the best films ive seen him do, but that was a kids film.

He's also a genuinely cool and down to earth person, but you really wouldn't mess with the guy.

Me and the missus decided a couple of months ago that if we ever find ourselves eating tuna, listening to Jo Whiley and watching Adam Sandler films then the time has come to throw ourselves off the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol.
