The man's a rich, selfish **** who portrays a false generosity to disguise his selfishness and make people believe he's a benefactor to the poor. There are so many billionaires like him. They don't give away unless they can get something back.

Oh dear. It's saying, if you earned a salary of 50,000 a year and you gave the equivalent percentage to his donation you'd be donating £45.

It's not necessarily funny as such. It's more a cynical take on the wealthiest man alive donating money to a charity yet being a total scrooge at the same time. I agree, it didn't make me laugh, but it did make me think. Actually makes me despise these super wealthy sorts even more.

and this is exactly why it shouldn’t be in here. it brings about discussion that is out of the scope of the thread.

 

 

 

Personally i think giving away nearly £100m is something that should be acknowledged as a good thing, not criticized or mocked.
