GLC Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Should have won IMO But a point is better then nothing
Finnegan Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 There has to be a point where "good performances" become wins.
Cat Burger Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 There's always the old cliché about drawing our away games to grab on to when we're not winning!
Jimmy Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Fryatt did sod all, so if he is kicking off about not playing he should be made to watch this game and explain why he should be 1st choice hopefully Dyer can keep this form going and not go into his usual winter hiding place
StanSP Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Deserved more than a draw. We were on top for majority of the game and were unlucky with some chances. Just need more luck in front of goal. And we have to start scoring from corners!!
STUHILL Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Great performance! A bit of luck, a bit more ruthless infront of goal and we are looking much much better!! Much better signs Same team for tuesday please!
MikeyT Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Great passing football, loads and loads of chances, disappointed not to win this. Coventry sounded poor. Be good to hear what our travelling support say. A point is better than no point though, quite obviously.
Edmund Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 There has to be a point where "good performances" become wins. I agree. At this moment in time a win is the most important thing needed to kick start the season. Performances mean nothing at this time.
STUHILL Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Fryatt did sod all, so if he is kicking off about not playing he should be made to watch this game and explain why he should be 1st choice hopefully Dyer can keep this form going and not go into his usual winter hiding place Did you watch the game? or listen?
Dylan Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Slightly disappointed with a point after such dominance. Needed a win today imo, especially with QPR and Cardiff next. Want to see highlights for the decisions which went against us. Need more conviction,
Toby or not Toby Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 At least we didn't lose, would have wanted 3 point with Cardiff and QPR the next two games.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Slightly disappointed with a point after such dominance. Needed a win today imo, especially with QPR and Cardiff next. Want to see highlights for the decisions which went against us. Need more conviction, Dylan are we the main featured game on Football League show??
breadandcheese Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Frustrating. - Sounds like we dominated and should have had 3 points. - Why can we not make a corner count? - Two best teams in the league coming up. Let's start making amends.
ozleicester Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Still believe that playing quality is vital, last year we stole a whole lot of points when we shouldnt have. I have the faith
Wycombe Fox Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 City 17 shots Coventry 4, City 11 corners Coventry 2, City 54% possession Coventry 46%. 1-1
STUHILL Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 I think we can beat QPR if we play like that and take our chances. Cardiff are obviously a step-up again but they are not unbeatable COME ONNNNNNNNNNNN. Even though we didn't win. I am far happier than I was
ScouseFox Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Agree that we should have won from what the stats show. Interesting to see if we were hard done by by the referee, or if it was just bias from RL.
foxoffderby Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Dylan are we the main featured game on Football League show?? Yes alongside Burnley v Preston
Webbo Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Well I've had my doubts about Sousa I won't deny it but that sounded excellent. We just need to start converting some more of those chances.
Zingari Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 I hate football. it's a cruel cruel mistress
Fmfox Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Well from what Ian Stringer said we should have scored at the end (aswell as the numerous other chances we had). Saying that it sounded much better and hopefully we will build on what was a great all round performance, some days you dominate and win 5-0 others you get unlucky. Sounds like Coventry only had one shot all match, at least they weren't causing problems for our defence.
sdb Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 King won't get dropped again anytime soon, Morro should cement his place ahead of Moreno, DNG no longer the chosen one. These are good signs that PS is learning.
Webbo Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 I think we can beat QPR if we play like that and take our chances. Cardiff are obviously a step-up again but they are not unbeatable Qpr are above Cardiff.
Cropwellfox Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 City 17 shots Coventry 4, City 11 corners Coventry 2, City 54% possession Coventry 46%. 1-1 Are we Swansea in disguise? Coventry sounded piss poor on RL - interesting if an unbiased report matches that view. I'm happy that I was wrong we get something out of the game, but I still can't see where a win is coming from anytime soon in the league.
