Matt Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I'm 100% sure that if his English were better he would not have used the word "proud". My feeling was that he wanted to support his players at a bad time, but had no idea what other English word to use. Urgh, the lost in translation excuse, I'm sorry but if he's using the wrong terms and doesn't know what he is saying in interviews then what is he saying in the dressing room? Do the players understand him cos I struggle to understand him sometimes in his interviews. If this is the case it points to the question again - should he really be our manager if there is communication problems?
Stadt Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I'm fed up of its only 8 games, are they gonna be saying that at the end of the seaon oh its only 46 games and we're relegated but we need to give the manager a chance!

Yeah of course they will, that's exactly what people will say... nothing like being overly dramatic for effect.
swansfaninpeace Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 hi all swans fan in peace here. been viewing this site for a while but decided to stay quiet not for any foxes fans to think im here on a wind up. after reading the thoughts from everyone on sousa i thought it was time to register on here. i realise some of you will think i am here to take the p iss but i am genuinely concerned for you as i could see us being in the position your in now if sousa had stayed at the liberty. in my opinion he doesnt only need to be sacked from leicester he deserves to be banned from managing any team in the english league. if he was as good as his ego thinks he is then a portugese or even an italian team would have been chasing him,as a player he had a fantastic career but as a manager i think he and whatever club he is in charge of is doomed, also bruno is another beauty as he is a carbon copy of paulo .since leaving the swans it has come out that there were hardly any players keen on him at all and our chairman didnt even look for compensation which was a surprise as he had signed a 3 year contract 12 months before so this seems even he was glad he was going. in all fairness he got us to our highest position in the league for 25+ years but our team was already playing the type of football (passing game) before he arrived. he was a defensive midfielder when he was playing and i dont think he understands that a team needs to be scoring goals to win games which is exactly what he doesnt want to see his team doing. all i can say is i hope you can get him booted out and quickly as a club as big as leicester doesnt deserve a prat like this to run them down. good luck and i hope you can reach your potential this season without sousa
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Paul Lambert! You must be crazy. He was rubbish here at Wycombe Wanderers
kimsalabim Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Micky Adams. He did a good job here before, turned a team of loser who had been relegated the season before into a team of winners and got us promoted at the first time of asking with the problems of administration and a transfer embargo thrown into the bargain. When we were back up in the prem, he had no money to spend, and i seem to remember that we battled very bravely that season, and should have got more out of it. Everybody got on his back when we came beck down, and he left after a few games (the clown we have in charge now has been here longer). Results speak volumes, and other than NP (who should NEVER have been forced out) he has been the only person we have had since Little, McGhee and of course, O'Neill capable of getting results, and screw all the nay sayers, read the above again and realise HE DID A GOOD JOB!!! A step back would be a step forwards in this case. GET THIS IDIOT OUT AND GET MICKY BACK NOW!!!
Wymsey Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Bring back Rob Kelly and Mike Stowell to be his assistant.
lavrentis Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Step aside Paulo, it's time for King Kev.
ThurmastonFox Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 You know, I think I've got it. Poor Paulo got confused. He knows us as the blue army - and the team in blue won 6-1 so he was proud. It's all in the translation obviously
Edmund Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Micky Adams. I'd have Micky Adams in a flash over Sousa at this moment in time.
Jakemoore Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 It was an absolute disgrace that Milan forced Pearson out in the first place, but to then sign a manager with hardly any experience of the Championship well I've lost all faith in Milan and Sousa. Sousa seems to be satisfied with losing at times, prime example......Portsmouth on Friday, we were losing 4-0 and Cotterill was going mad on the sidelines and Sousa was just stood there looking like a modal for next or top man. He doesn't look like a manager with an ability to influence games, he stands there in his expensive Italian shoes with his arms crossed just watching the players fall apart. They say he's lost the respect of our players, I'm not bloody surprised.

The club is in cow crap at the moment
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Rewind three weeks you all wanted to give him time. one 6-1 defeat and the axe needs to fall Those that banded the word fickle about need to take a long hard look.
cc_star Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Not sure how Sousa is still there, perhaps the problem is no one else has been sounded out yet. How many games did Martin Allen get before Manderic realised he'd made a boo boo I would have thought they'd be rumours in the mainstream press this week if anybody else is being sounded out because those things always leak, especially if Sven is involved (mercenary that he is) as he leaks to the press to drive his wages (or shares) up. I'd like a British based manager, we've gone through too many upheavals for anything other than a season of steadying the ship (although I'm disappointed by that as I'd have thought we should be kicking on from last years position especially with the addition of money for transfer fees, signing-on fees and wages... still I'd probably accept mid-table mediocrity as an achievement now. Bring on MoN!!!

I love Micky (my favourite moments as a Leicester fan came in his period), I think everyone on here knows that............ .....But I wouldn't want him back for the reason in bold. 80% of fans never took to him and criticised his direct style (who are now ironically criticising Sousa's passing style), and I'm not sure the fans would give him a fair crack of the whip. No thanks. Would genuinely rather have Gregory.

ozleicester Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Sousa keen to move on ...... please Andf people complain about PS not being clear or answering questions accurately....Its this kind of knowledgable factual reporting that reassures me..... Sousa, who saw Michael Morrison sent off in the first half, was left disappointed after the result but is eyeing a response against Norwich next Tuesday."

(and winning most of the them) Looking at the squad on paper we have more than enough quality players on the books to do this.
goal-mangal Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Martin mad dog allen was decent.. O'neill wants top-flight.. Sousa is upcoming manager, but more suited to some latin football rather than England .. if he get sacked - Chris Powell. - Goal -
stivesfox Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 The daily mirror report mandaric to fire Sousa and pardew front runner for job Sousa to be gone after Norwich game
