Well to be honest I support Villa slighty more than I do Leicester yet I go to more Leicester matches than I do Villa because of the cost & I see my local side Nuneaton Borough a lot. Anyway I've been supporting Leicester for about 10 years now my first game was 3-0 against Bristol City in fa cup at good old Filbert Street I remember Bristol City wearing green for some strange reason. I remember sitting in the filbert street end. My first away was Coventry in 2003 when we beat them 2-1 my only to visit to Highfield Road.

Been a supporter for as long a I remember but my first match was a 4-2 home win against then second tier Birmingham city in the FA Cup, I think maybe it was 97/98. Sat in the second tier of the double decker if I remember rightly.

My first away was last season at Newcastle, my dad had never bothered wth away games and before that I didn't really have the money, nor anyone to go with since most of my mates don't care about City.

First game I remember was a 2-1 win against Luton, think it was February 94 when Gary Coatsworth scored a screamer. First awayer I can't remember, think it was the 95/96 season trip to Grimsby. Always a freezing ground that one.

At home to Leeds in the Worthington Cup in the 1999/2000 season. It was 0-0 and I remember someone being sent off for Leeds. We then won on Penalties in front of the Kop (where I was sitting). I think Izzet scored the winning penalty.

My first away game was in the final at Wembley just a few months later

If that doesn't count then it was Scunny in League 1. When Kingy (who else) got the winner it was mental

The story of my first game can only be brought to you by a very enthusiastic commentator.

My dad promised to take me Watford away for the last game of that season, but the time came around and it never happened . So I had to wait another season for the 4-2 win at Blackburn. I remember being awestruck by the Jack Walker stand.

Honestly can't remember who it was against but I swear people were sitting on top of the stadium's roof and I remember bricking it for them in case they fell off.

I mentioned it on here before I think.

Im not from Leicester, not even from England but when I was a kid, there was something cancelled, or a game postponed, or something, on Irish TV so they ended up showing Leicester City V Crystal Palace instead and it finished 4-3 but I cannot remember to who, it would be between 87 + 91 I would say. Does anyone on here remember that game maybe?

My first game after moving here was Leicester V Derby in Filbert St in the last Premiership season of the O'Neill era. I was near the away fans in a cage type thing, great atmosphere though, will never forget the atmosphere in there, really glad I got to experience that old stadium.

I think Leicester lost 3-0 with some fat arsed Danish centre half getting an awful chasing, I think Lee Morris played for Derby, might even have scored. I remember a chorus of ''disgrace, you are a fu*king disgrace'' being sung with real venom in the closing stages at the home players, and anger rising in the enclosure I was in.

Wow. That's some real live-wire commentary.

Like an antidote to Stringer

My first game was Leicester vs Liverpool in 1980.

7 years old, standing in the Kop with my mate and his dad surrounded by some proper mentalists!

We won 2-0 and remember thinking as we were leaving how lucky I was to be born in a city that has THE best football team in the country!

leicester v burnley at the last game of the 82-83 promotion year, finished 0-0 but it was enough for us to beat fulham for 3rd place, 30,000 at filbert st crammed in like sardines and then we all poured out on the pitch at the final whistle and celebrated.

That sounds like the 2001-02 season under Basset and Adams. I could be wrong though. The fat Danish defender would have been Jacob Laursen, he was shite!

My first game was a 1-0 defeat at Sheff Wed in the 1997-98 season, a game or two after we drew with Arsenal 3-3. Cant remember much of the game, though pretty sure Di Canio dived to get them a penalty which they scored.

I can remember running on the pitch to celebrate after the game, the players coming back out,

and everyone was jubilant. Then we got back to the car and put the radio on and they said that

we weren't promoted yet because the Fulham game hadn't finished because of a pitch invasion

and there was going to be a league inquirey.

My first game was against Liverpool 1977 ( I think) at Filbert St we lost 4-0 and I was hooked, must

be the masochist in me.

A meagre 3-1 at home against Pompey in the last Premiership season so far.

31,536 football fans on an early, sunny Mayday witnessing goals from Taylor (og), Dickov and Scowcroft.

Those were the times.

3-1 against Barnsley arse end of the 91-92 season I remember at that game I fell in love with Leicester, didn't understand the offside rule and my favourite players were Tommy Wright and Kevin Russel, both of whom left the club not long after. I sat with my Dad in the top of the Double Decker.

We went to the next 2 home games of the season, Cambridge 2-1 and Newcastle 1-2 when Stevie Walsh scored an Oggy and the Newcastle fans ripped up the seats and started throwing them at the fans in SK1, that was also my first match in the kop, SK4 though.

First non filbo match was Wembley a few weeks later Tommy Wright's last match, I thought I would never forgive David Speedie, but I did.
