This morning's Merc quotes Di Matteo as saying that Bednar joining us on loan until 3rd January (when it will be reviewed), with the option to recall him after 28 days.

Good signing this I reckon, I just hope he can become the 20 goals a season man we're obviously crying out for. If nothing else, he can be the perfect foil for Fryatt or Waghorn with Howard not getting any younger.

I can see Dyer, Gally, Vassell and King getting a lot of joy in running on to his flick-on's and lay-offs. If we can start lobbing in some decent crosses as well then he'll be a danger in front of goal.

Shrewd bit of business, he's been one of the best targetmen at this level in the past 3 seasons.
