Kitchandro Posted 22 November 2010 Posted 22 November 2010 He is but you can't argue the fact that Howard Fryatt and Oakley are not good enough. Tunchev hasn't really had chance to prove himself due to injuries but I'm sure a Bulgarian international is more than able. <_< er, yeh I can. Fryatt had 12 goals last year and was injured for 3 months. Clearly he is good enough. FACT. I'll admit Howard has his limitations but you can forget the win against Derby last week without him. I don't know if you went to the game but he couldn't have done any more than what he did and he had a massive impact on the game. This is what he offers us and he deserves more respect for what he's done for us.

Kitchandro Posted 22 November 2010 Posted 22 November 2010 Too right they aren't. We over performed last season with shit players. If we want to progress under Sven we need new players, it is nice to see Sven realises this and has brought some quality in the replace the crap so far. Long may it continue. You know if you were funny I could maybe accept you. But you're not in the slightest. Learn how to be funny then come back and wum
Tilley Posted 22 November 2010 Posted 22 November 2010 You know if you were funny I could maybe accept you. But you're not in the slightest. Learn how to be funny then come back and wum You think I care if you accept me? Are you thick? Of course we over-performed last season.
J.Lisemore Posted 22 November 2010 Posted 22 November 2010 Why's that? I don't see what's funny. Howard should be in League One with Fryatt, Oakley and Tunchev.
lcfcsnow Posted 22 November 2010 Posted 22 November 2010 er, yeh I can. Fryatt had 12 goals last year and was injured for 3 months. Clearly he is good enough. FACT. He was for half the season but his injury seems to have affected him badly, that and the fact he was dropped for DJ when Paulo came in. He looks a different player now to the one we saw first half of last season, that's lack of confidence or he's sulking. As ridiculous as it sounds, I know Paulo suggested different footwear and he's still wearing the boots now, his whole movement doesn't look right. He had problems earlier in his Leicester career with his flat feet that got sorted with a special boot or insoles but he's not wearing them now, from what I see, and thats going to affect his game.
Kitchandro Posted 22 November 2010 Posted 22 November 2010 You think I care if you accept me? Are you thick? Of course we over-performed last season. Yeh I do. Nobody likes being told they are an unfunny twat. What do you mean 'of course we overperformed last season'? Of course? Yeh that's right, we're shit. It was complete luck we got into the play-offs. All luck. Define overperformed. You cannot perform better than you are. You can get lucky over 10 games, not 46.

Luck plays a massive part in what people achieve. We overachieved with a poor squad. Paul Sousa isn't a terrible manager, it wasn't his fault he inherited a poor squad and that's why we struggled. Sven has come in and sured up the defence and we're conceding less and as soon as Weale is shipped out and Logan has a better understudy, we'll concede even less. Our midfield is pretty solid and as soon as Gallagher, Howard and Fryatt are out the door and we have some mobile, creative, goal-scoring forwards, the quicker this club will progress and be able to compete with the QPR's and Cardiff's of this league.
Callabinho Posted 22 November 2010 Posted 22 November 2010 Tilley why are you trying to wind everyone up? And i suppose you would do a better job than howard up top then?

Luck does not play that much of a part. Other team's have luck. Tell me - what luck went our way? Because I remember being fooking robbed in the play-offs. Don't remember many decisions going our way at all. If anything I'd say we did well in spite of bad luck. And if you want to talk about luck - King's had 4 goals disallowed this season - at least 3 of which should have been given. These goals could have given us quite a few more points. The goal on Staurday - very dubious I would say. So again, the luck has gone against us this season. Pretty much everyone accepts that. Pretty much everyone accepts that Sousa is a shit manager too. If he's not, why did he lose the dressing room? Why was he clearly tactically inept? WHy has he failed at 2 - arguably 3 of his jobs (he's had 3 managerial jobs, so it's arguably 100%) Weale has cost us one goal this season, so I don't know how he's to blame. Funny how when Sousa was here we were conceding far more goals than we are doing at the moment or when Pearson was here. We've only been shit when Sousa was here, not now and not before. You hate every fooking player we've got.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 22 November 2010 Posted 22 November 2010 I will be grateful when he's no where near the squad anymore, that's for certain. Absolutely useless, offers nothing from open play and by the looks of things, offers nothing from set pieces anymore either. He offered enough to be given a new contract a few weeks ago. Shut up moaning, get behind the lad. PS: I'd give Howard and Bednar a run in a 4-4-2. Destroy defences.

Man you are so stupid. First thing, gallagher isn't a forward, and i dont know how many times i have said this. You moan and groan about every single player on our team. And theres no such thing as luck. Im not writing an essay to you, as i'm too tired to. Just use your head, and stop being such an arse, or else you'll end up like honrada raposa.
ajthefox Posted 22 November 2010 Posted 22 November 2010 If I was you I wouldn't even bother replying. Anyone who says Logan needs a better understudy than Weale is clearly trying to get you to bite.
The Padster Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 Not the best source I know but... Just spoke to me mam on the phone (shes an Albion fan) and she seems to think it's wrapped up for us. Let's see if anybody with a reliable source can back her up
Arkie Bennett Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 IIRC Bednar couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo when he played at the Walkers for Albion in our relegation season. I think he came on as sub right at the end of last year's match. These are the only times I've seen him play and I wasn't impressed. Obviously I've seen him on the telly and he does have a decent record of scoring goals, but other times he has looked ordinary. My mate is a Baggies fan and he rates him.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 Surely it's better to take the opinion of the Albion fan who's seen him fairly regularly than that of yourself who's had a brief glimpse at some cameo appearances against us?
Bellend Sebastian Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 The Mercury this morning claims that he's chosen us over a number of clubs, including Hull, because he wants to stay in the Midlands. Should be sorted today

cambridgefox Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 Well,we dont seem to be making the net bulge much this season,so worth the risk imo. I work in sales and i work on the basis of,if you throw enough shit, at some point some of it will stick. At some point a forward will come to us and bag a hatful!
Finnegan Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 Enthusiastic about this. Always thought he was a good all-round forward. I know he's not Usain Bolt but isn't he fairly mobile by Howard's standards? Not that that's probably saying much, heh. Few goals and a good target man. Tidy. Man you are so stupid. First thing, gallagher isn't a forward, and i dont know how many times i have said this. You moan and groan about every single player on our team. And theres no such thing as luck. hackneyfox Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 What a thread. Tilley is winding people up wonderfully and nobody can see it. I don't expect kitchenpro to as he only states FACTS We didn't over achieve last season We were robbed in the play offs Fryatt is just fantsatic Howard is great Weale has only made one mistake They are all FACTS Chortle
Daggers Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 I can't hear to read this thread for the sound of a thousand lips moving while they mouth the shapes to every phoneme. Jesus this place got thick. If you don't like something someone says then either deliver a humorous and withering put down or place them on ignore. If you are not sure you are intelligent and witty enough for the former go with ignore every time. If you do not know how to place someone on ignore - close your computer, fetch a hammer, hit computer until it fits in your pockets.
