StanSP Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 LCFC Official Bednar has just scored a quality goal in training...exciting times! Bring on the Forest ! I remember Eric Odhiambo scoring a magical goal during the Martin Allen era
Guest shearfox Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Does this mean we will now have a striker who can at least hit the target.... Awesome!
eye666 Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 The local coke dealers are now bracing themselves for a surge in sales.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Chuffed. Someone that'll boost our options up front, and is just as capable on the floor as well as in the air. Think Fryatt'll be out the door (probably to Hull), but I don't see what harm keeping hold of him would do though. Add Schlupp into the equation too and get some proper competition for places going up top.
Edmund Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 I've always been a massive fan of Bednar. This club is definitely heading in the right direction with Sven. He's not messing about in the transfer market. Onwards and upwards
MPH Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Not bad I suppose KirklandNaughton...........Davies...........Vitor...........CunninghamWellens..........................AbeKingVassell.................................................................Dyer BednarSubs: Weale, Waghorn, Gallagher, Hobbs, Berner, Oakley, Howard That's a right proper badass formation....
ajthefox Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Great news, but something that popped up on our bbc page from 606 is worth re-iterating, it's that this is simply a loan til jan. I hope there is a view to a perm deal otherwise we could really struggle in jan if we're going back to a team made up completely of subs/ressies who have no confidence.
phildw Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 That's a right proper badass formation.... Won't be this team you can't play more than 5 loanees so someone will be sitting getting cold in the stands!
SMX11 Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Not bad I suppose KirklandNaughton...........Davies...........Vitor...........CunninghamWellens..........................AbeKingVassell.................................................................Dyer BednarSubs: Weale, Waghorn, Gallagher, Hobbs, Berner, Oakley, Howard Shame that team cannot ever play together unless at least one of the loanees gets signed up.
David Guiza Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Vitor doesn't count as a loanee how many more times does that have to be explained. Leaving Kirdland, should he sign. Davies. Cunningham. Naughton and Bednar
Tommy G Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Shame that team cannot ever play together unless at least one of the loanees gets signed up. FU.CKING HELL ARE YOU FU.CKING BRAIN DEAD
lestajigs Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 FU.CKING HELL ARE YOU FU.CKING BRAIN DEAD Calm down calm down lad, he probally didn't no duck!!
rams r4 sh*ggin Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Ok so i might look a tw@t, k-nob what ever takes ya fancy but does the loanee rule apply if you had 4 onfiled and 1 on bench that could sub for a loanee on the pitch? alls ive been hearing is no more than 4 in starting 11 so be nice to find out.
hackneyfox Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 There are a lot of people on the wind up today. Or a lot of very stupid people.
The Padster Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Somebody try and find the rules about loans and post them as a sticky, I feel this is the only way to stop people asking questions. By the way I'm not crapping out on this, I've looked on the Football League website and googled it but my searching skills are whack.
nickelbyfox Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Stringer says too many loanees and here's the rules that say nothing about international loans being anything but standard League website Says only 5 Players allowed in a match day squad but 8 overall
nickelbyfox Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 50.3.1 A maximum of 5 loan Players (Standard, Emergency or Youth) can be named in the Players listed on a team sheet for any individual match played under the auspices of The League. This figure shall include any additional loan of a goalkeeper approved by the Executive under the provisions of Regulation 52.
SMX11 Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 FU.CKING HELL ARE YOU FU.CKING BRAIN DEAD No I just know the rules. You are right in the fact Vitor doesn't count towards the 5 domestic loanees but you are still only allowed 5 loanees in a match squad. You could have 10 loanees in your sqaud but you are only allowed to use 5 on a match day. <_< Edit: not sure on max loanees though
Babylon Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 50.3.1 A maximum of 5 loan Players (Standard, Emergency or Youth) can be named in the Players listed on a team sheet for any individual match played under the auspices of The League. Norwich City fielded 6 loan player last season, but some were from different countries so it was fine. http://www.norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=4300&posts=3
blue army 1988 Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Good solid championship signing in my opinion
SMX11 Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 I stand corrected, just checked FM and the team can be used. Sorry I am fooking brainless
Captain... Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Can't be arsed to read the whole thread has anyone pointed out yet that Fryatt scored more than Bednar last season? Bednar: 26 (6) games - 11 goals http://www.wba.co.uk/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,10366~33884,00.html Fryatt: 30 (4) games - 13 goals http://www.lcfc.com/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,10274~23848,00.html He has barely played under Sven and has had a few knocks and injuries in the last 12 months he deserves his chance. To be honest I am a little disappointed by the way the players that served us so well for the last 2 seasons have been treated, Hobbs, Morrison, Fryatt, Berner, now it looks like Weale is next for the chop. It reminds of the 2005-2008 when we had no consistency in the team.
SMX11 Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Bednar will fit our current system more than Fryatt. However I wouldn't let him go out on loan to the championship but I would consider to cash in on him in Jan.
Jackirius Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Players from other countries don't count!!!!! Norwich City fielded 6 loan player last season, but some were from different countries so it was fine. http://www.norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=4300&posts=3 I was just about to use this example. People don't seem to get it however many times you say it.
