Kasper Schmeichel - COMPLETE

Recommended Posts

Sky Sports sources understand that Leeds United are considering a £1million offer from Leicester City for Kasper Schmeichel.

Foxes manager Sven Goran Eriksson is a big fan of the Danish keeper having previously brought him to Notts County from Manchester City.

The Swede also gave a young Schmeichel his City debut against West Ham and he also stared in subsequent games against Manchester United and Arsenal.

Schmeichel has one year left on his Elland Road deal and Leeds could decide to sell now rather than risk losing him for free next summer.

The 24-year-old was one of Leeds' stand-out players last term as Simon Grayson's charges made a swift and successful adjustment to life back in the Championship.

However, ambitious Leicester now see the young keeper, who has been called into the Denmark squad, as the man to be between the sticks next term as they seek promotion.
