The Year Of The Fox Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 I'm quite suprised one or two consider us to be a big club. I certainly don't
Bilo Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 (edited) Laughably sensitive. Even if they do go up, they'll undoubtedly be straight back down. The owners are just using them as a means to give some of Udinese's fringe players and kids experience, the likes of Vydra will be back at the bigger club before they know it. They're still trotting out the 'big spending Leicester' as well I see. Edited 27 January 2013 by Bilo
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Oh goody, are we playing forum wars again?
foxfanazer Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 I'm quite suprised one or two consider us to be a big club. I certainly don't I do, not as big as some like to make out though. We have a big stadium, big fan base, owners with decent money and a squad and manager capable of achieving premiership football
The Year Of The Fox Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 I do, not as big as some like to make out though. We have a big stadium, big fan base, owners with decent money and a squad and manager capable of achieving premiership football no different to several other teams then
foxfanazer Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 no different to several other teams then no difference at all. Doesn't mean we aren't a big club though
Deucalion Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 I'm just glad we are in the position we are. The season is heading for squeaky bum time and we are in with a shout. If we do as well with our remaining games as the clubs below us, then we will finish second and be promoted. If one of these teams does a few points better than us, then they will finish above us and get promoted. Watford are the current form team but I see no reason as yet to believe it is any more than that. They still have a bit more to prove, probably even more to prove than us as we have been more consistent and 'there or there abouts' all season. Both sets of fans are foolish to be doing a chicken head count yet but probably more so them than us. I personally don't get upset about other teams having a dig because it just shows their anxiety about us.
Carl the Llama Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 My dream end to the season:1) Watford 2) Boro 3) Cardiff 4) Leicester 5) Burnley 6) Hull Palace fall away badly Quite happy to see Boro in auto place - very neutral towards them Cardiff beat Hull and Burnley beat Leicester SD beats MM in play off final Burnley refuse to give CCFC their share of the POF proceeds CCFC and LCFC suffer financial meltdown following another failed promotion attempt..... Shucks.
z-layrex Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Why are Watford fans so embittered about us? Most clubs are. They can't handle how massive we are.
Carl the Llama Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Why are Watford fans so embittered about us? 'Cause we're a MASSIVE English club and they're a 2nd rate Serie A reserve squad.
Bert Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Why are Watford fans so embittered about us? Think they're the dogs as they're in a good run of form.
Kitchandro Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Watford seem to hate us for some reason. I remember reading a thread about 3 seasons ago which was full of some of the most hateful comments Ive ever seen.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Watford seem to hate us for some reason. I remember reading a thread about 3 seasons ago which was full of some of the most hateful comments Ive ever seen. Cos Kasabian are a tiny bit better than Elton John 4
Grewks Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Amazing how they insult the Thais, and talk about dodgy dealings, and then they go and loan half a squad from another club which their owner owns. Their fans promote themselves as a 'proper club' who are based upon their academy, but do they not have the most foreign players in the league? Moronic Irony.
Carl the Llama Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Just had another quick peek and they genuinely seem to think they can win the league... The fact that they reckon Burnley can make, and win, the playoffs show just how delusional their predictions are - Austin can only carry them so far. Here's my attempt at their little game: 1. Cardiff 2. City 3. Watford 4. Boro 5. Palace 6. Hull And once it gets to the playoffs it's a lottery, my money would actually be on Watford though.
sbfox Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 Reading the Watford forum(s) is like living in an alternate universe. I mean, you expect one forum to have its share of weirdos (cough cough, Bentleys...), but both of them seem utterly delusional. 1
Dan Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 http://www.wfcforums...45397-Leicester Cheating bunch of coonts. Even if they do go up this year, they're still a sad little club that had to loan in an entire Serie A squad from their Italian big brother to do it. Fvck me, another bunch of idiots who've got themselves on the high horse due to a good run. "Promote the loan system" yeh, lets have everyone using other peoples players. The loan system's a farce.
Deucalion Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 I personally hope Watford are nowhere near promotion. The likes of Watford, Reading, Fulham and Wigan just take Premier League places from proper big clubs. Not that I usually give Watford much thought.
jonthefox Posted 27 January 2013 Author Posted 27 January 2013 Their not saying much , but wigan. http://thisnorthernsoul.co.uk/index.php/forum/5-general-chat/29584-5th-round-draw Loved this bit btw. Fox92 Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 HTFC 1 - 1 LCFC Replay is on Monday 11th February at Filbert Street. Then whoever wins plays Latics on the following Saturday/Sunday ... The date and the ground is wrong. Never mind, I like Wigan. On the other hand, what's up with the Watford fans?
Soar Fox Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 What a pathetic bunch Watford are. Know doubt they fade away into Mid-table this season, lose all their loan players next year and get relegated. Shit club with shit fans and a shit stadium. Oh and calling us big spending leicester! Least we have bought them and not have loaned them from a feeder club. The bubble will soon burst down at vicarage road and they'll end up being on the end of more battering's than David Furnish's arse after Elton John has finished with him.
