One of the worst stoppages I've seen. Parker was still defending and the shots before the ref jumped in weren't landing clean. Awful refereeing

hmm… it’s a tough one… for me, they were entering brain damage territory.. they both took so many shots..

I think it was a great fight. A very gritty performance by Wardly. But make no mistake, he’ll get absolutely eaten alive by Usyk.

id love him to get a few more fights in before  facing him, but he’s not going to have that luxury.. Usyk will probably retire after this fight so I suppose Wardly has to take the opportunity..

Not the worse but I've got to agree, it was an early stoppage. Why did Parker ever risk a title fight and big payday for Wardley. He's got some clueless advisers.

Howard Foster has been known to be a very dodgy referee over the years. Jumps in far too quickly to stop fights.

Maybe a bit early for a stoppage but Parker was in all sorts of trouble  at the end of the 10th and the bell came to his rescue. The cut in the 11th was really troubling him and the onslaught from Wardley in the 11th did have him hurt and just before the stoppage Parker drops both his hands. Fair to say Wardley is a very hard hitter and the ref was a lot closer than the cameras so up close and personnal. When the stoppage came there was very little complaints coming from Parker who seemed to accept the refs decision. Wardley did surprise me raising his performance levels  and is relentless with a very good chin to back up some serious punching power so won't begrudge him this hard fought win but think hindsight being the wonderful thing it is suggests Parker's team seriously misjudged how good Wardley was going to be. Think everyone would agree it was one hell of a fight and oneof the better heavyweight contests in recent years

Ive been disappointed with some of Fosters stoppages before,  but no complaints on that one. Wardley threw about 30-40 punches unanswered lol

As someone that wanted a Parker win and had a wager on him, even I thought it was a fair stoppage.

Great to see Royston putting in a very solid performance after a while out. Eager to see how far he can go in the division

i actually came on to say I think the unanswered punches probably  contributed to the stoppage.  In any combat sport, if you cover up and stop fighting back, they usually stop the fight.

It didn’t help of course that at the end of the 10th Parker didn’t even know where he was.

Yeah, Parker or anyone can say he was fine, but you can't stand there for 60 odd seconds letting someone unload 40 punches and expect the ref not to think you're in trouble.

Would like to see a rematch, if not then Itauma v Parker could be a good one next year.

Seems like AJ vs Jake Paul is happening...bizarre really but it'll make them both a lot of cash! Felt AJ has been a spent force for a long time now anyway!!

I'm really unsure what's in it for AJ besides cash.

Seems like a more risky rerun of Ngannou. If he doesn't absolutely demolish Paul then his career is finished entirely you'd have thought.

It won' happen as Hearn will demand it's a proper fight and not an exhibition. If in some miracle world it did happen, there's not a chance I want to see it over in a round. I'd want Joshua to absolutely toy with the weapon for 7 or 8 rounds and then flatten him.

It'll never happen, they're just using Joshua to keep their name relevant and then it'll be either an ex UFC fighter or some washed up fighter that had a world championship shot 25 years ago.

If he’s taking fights against people half his weight purely for dollar then his career is already finished.

I’d love nothing more than to see  a Benn win tonight. It’s going to be another humdinger, but it’s hard to see that he can stop Eubank and I think he’ll need to, to win. Eubank is a smart fighter. I don’t think he’ll stop Conor, but he’s smart enough to keep him at bay and out-point him.

More of the same, Unfortunately.
