z-layrex Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Has anyone seen the stats on the posh ipswich game?? 90% possession I've never seen anything like it!
MC Prussian Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 To be fair, Ipswich were down to ten men right before the break and then down to nine men shortly after the second half started.
Bugg Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 To be fair, Ipswich were down to ten men right before the break and then down to nine men shortly after the second half started. Peterborough were battering Ipswich before any of the sending offs though.
MC Prussian Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Can I just say that the Championship is one heck of a tough and unpredictable league? Some of the results so far... Ouch. A marathon, not a sprint.
MC Prussian Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Peterborough were battering Ipswich before any of the sending offs though. Just seen the highlights and you're right, Ipswich couldn't tell left from right, Peterborough were from another planet, running the Tractor Boys ragged. Always a step faster, always ready, everpresent. And that Taylor guy looked like a real handful. It puts things into perspective somehow - I had Ipswich as playoff contenders before the start of the season. And they will come back. They have to.
Wymsey Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Peterborough scoring seven. Derby - Won 4/4.... Now that really does show this league is more than just an average league.
MC Prussian Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Coventry's total attendance against Watford: 13'043. That's the total attendance, including the Watford fans. Shambolic.
Jaspa Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Bottom three allready Watford. 2 Cov. 1 Doncaster. 0 I want the donkeys to bonce back though, liked their style a year or two back, and we have Mills and Wellens. Huge shock loss of Sharpe aswell, wasn't desewrved in any way team or player. Cov can rot Dnt mind the Hornets, but maybe a year or two in League 1 could help their great youth setup.
Corky Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Coventry's total attendance against Watford: 13'043. That's the total attendance, including the Watford fans. Shambolic. They've had little to get excited about for 20 years, it's not surprising they can't be bothered.
leicesterisme Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Is it just me who thought Lee Martins tackle was never a red card? Wasn't two footed and got the ball.
MC Prussian Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 They've had little to get excited about for 20 years, it's not surprising they can't be bothered. To be fair, it's good to see them standing up against their owners. Even though there was only a handful of fans protesting against SISU in front of the Ricoh.
Fox92 Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Coventry's total attendance against Watford: 13'043. That's the total attendance, including the Watford fans. Shambolic. Thats not suprising. Coventry attendance is woeful but they haven't had any sucess in years, where as most of their rivals seem to be up there, ie Birmingham in Europe, Villa in the Premier League and we made the play offs under Pearson. Plus, Watford arn't that much of a well supported club.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 I can see Cov getting a crowd less than 10k soon, when they are rock bottom around November.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 I can see Cov getting a crowd less than 10k soon, when they are rock bottom around November. The attendances are only going one way. Can't imagine they'll be far off 10k for midweek games now.
MikeyT Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Did i just hear that right... Norwich have a 22,500 capacity stadium and they have sold 22,000 season tickets?!
Stevosevic Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Did i just hear that right... Norwich have a 22,500 capacity stadium and they have sold 22,000 season tickets?! It holds 27K
Jimothy Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 It holds 27K With 2700 going to away supporters, 22000 season tickets sold means only 2300 spare seats for every home game!
Uncle Phil Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Is anyone watching Wet Spam - Leeds on a link care to share it? I can't get on myp2p.eu anymore
Matt Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Take a bow Paddy Kisnorbo! What a goal. Shame it was the wrong end...
martyn Posted 21 August 2011 Posted 21 August 2011 Oh dear Kisnorbo. Leeds by far the better side here.
