I don't think the move was for footballing reasons though. More to do with him being closer to home.

Slightly dramatic there, Mexico is a much shorter flight from Peru than Europe and the cultures are not massivley different, same language etc etc.

I think the deal might be to ensure he keeps his style of football, which might suit the premiership more than if he had to adapt to league one.

I wouldn't say that personally, Mexico/Peru are far more similar as places than England/Morocco.

For starters Mexico and Peru speak the same language (although you could argue both England & Morocco speak arabic )

Point still stands though. America and England speak the same language, share massive cultural markers and eat the same foods. I wouldn't move there if I were homesick, though. That'd be ridiculous.

I can't find any evidence of that anywhere, if you are talking about internationally agreed continents it is in the North American Continent, the only real question I can find is when you define continents by tectonic plates, but that only relates to whether or not the Caribbean plate should be classed as continent or sub continent, but this doesn't include Mexico, only Guatemala, Honduras, Belize, El Salvador, Nigaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.

If i had moved to burma or something and wasnt enjoying the culture change i would definitely move to america had i the option.
